I completely agree that telling the truth often proves to be costly. The truth requires courage from a person. Because it can deprive us of temporary comfort relationships or benefits. On many occasions telling the truth weakens relationships creates misunderstandings. And sometimes even makes a person lonely. People often want to hear what they like not what is true.
Telling the truth also causes pain. Especially when it hurts someone close to them. It also happens after telling the truth. The thought comes to the heart that perhaps it would have been better to remain silent. This regret is actually born from seeing the pain of others not from speaking the truth. However with the passage of time there is also a feeling. That the truth has lightened a burden and the conscience is satisfied.

The price of truth is temporary. But its benefit is long-lasting. It encourages a person to meet his eyes and forms the basis of a strong character. Although speaking the truth can be difficult and painful. In last it is that make a person free and strong from within.

This is possible to tell truth without hurting people feelings. But it is an art that not everyone be master. The way we tell truth is important like truth itself. If truth is told in harsh way this can be hurtful. But if this told with gentleness respect and empathy it is easy to accept.
To tell truth without hurting feelings. It is important to choose right timing words and tone. Not every truth needs to be told right away nor does every truth need to be told with full force. Half truth or truth told in soft words can be more effective. The goal should not be to put other person down. But to guide them toward improvement.

Therefore it is important to understand the difference in what intention is being used to lie. If the intention is pure and the goal is to save someone from serious harm. Then such a lie is understandable in some situations. But making it a habit or lying to avoid every difficulty is not right.
