Bravo, Our National Meetup t-shirts are ready!
It was almost by this time last year that we gathered for the first ever National meet here in my country of residence. Yes, we all had fun and received great encouragements then. We meried, and shun with our steem t-shirt. I amd usual a part of the organising member and I play a major role when it comes to stuffs of this nature.
Just as it was last year where I was the one that was saddled with the responsibility to come up with a steem design t-shirt, get the vendor and get it ready, I am doing the same again this year. The screenshot below shows when I began negotiation for the design of the t-shirt we will wear in our upcoming National Meetup. I asked my vendor to give me the design which he took his time to design and share with me. I inturn shared with the Nigerian steemians for them to make their choice.

They chose the green design as you can see below and also in the video below. Having accepted that, I began making announcements in our group for members to indicate interest and pay their cash which was set to be N5500 (55 steem). Well, due to the low price of steem, the number of those that indicated interest were not as much as those that indicated interest last year.

It is quite unfortunate but we had already fixed the date and it has to happen that day. To make it easy for everyone who can't afford to go for the new t-shirt, we told them that they can still wear their last year's t-shirt.
At the end of the duration for the collection of the orders, I had a total of 23 t-shirts. 3 steemians went for the white and green, while the rest went for the agreed colour. I then pushed them to the vendor to start work. I gave him one to two weeks to get them ready. I don't like disappointments. I followed up on a daily basis to ensure that he doesn't forget. Yes, he can forget my order and continue with other people's order. I have been a vendor before and I understand that it can happen. I worry a lot when it comes to that. I made calls as well as sent chats. I am not in the same city with the vendor and as such I can't give him a surprise visit as I did last year or each time I give him work to do for me.

This vendor understands my kind of person and he did his best to get them ready at the said time. As I write, these t-shirts are ready for collection. I told him where to deliver them for me and he has done it. By that next week of the meetup which is 29th of this November, I will try and be there for distribution to the owners. For collection, just let me know and I will make it available for you all

This meetup is going to be one of uts kind. Apart from being responsible for the t-shirt, I am also part of the organising team and we are planning all other things that will make the event a colourful and inspiring one. Ngoenyi loves meetup, trust me, it's going to be excellent 👌👌! I just wish someone will like to join us from wherever they are to witness how it's going to be. We can't wait to meet with our fellow steemians, dine, wine and learn. We still need more sponsors anyways. But we will manage what we have in case we didn't receive anything again.

It has been fantastic to read about the preparations for this year’s National Meeting! The green T-shirts selected by the members are very nice looking and full of a spirit of togetherness. It is pity not so many people were interested this year because of the low Steem price, but holding on to last year’s tees was a wise move that shows inclusivity and concern for all the community members. I hope this event on 29th November will be colourful, inspiring and will bring to some even closer together as fellow Steemians. I'm sure that the tireless energy of the committee will make this meeting an unforgettable occasion.
