SLC-S28/W6-"Local Taste, Global Twist!"| My Signature Challenge!
Welcome to the last week’s culinary journey!
We have amazingly blended creativity, culture, and simple cooking ideas that everyone knows. We have explored new themes, experiment with flavors, and learnt something fresh about food from different parts of the world.
This is the last week so freestyle! Let us see in your plate, that signature that inspires you. The process should be epic as the creativity drives....
I hope it brings you as much excitement as it brought me while preparing it.
Week 6: “Global Dessert!”
Welcome to Week 6 the grand finale!
Since week 1, we've been learning how to twist local foods in so many ways to give it a global touch. Now, this is your turn to create your own signature dish.
Use anything simple and affordable: rice, yams, eggs, veggies, plantain, whatever you have.
Create a dish that shows your creativity, your culture, and your global imagination.
This week is all about:
✨ Confidence
✨ Expression
✨ And creating a food masterpiece in your own style
End this challenge with a plate that represents you.
I prepared “potatoes stir-fry!” so simple and sumptuous with just few ingredients. “Chinese base with African touch.”
- Potatoes
- Veggies
- Onion, garlic, ginger
- Spices/ pepper
- Egg white for topping

Potato stir-fry is common in China. Once you mention stir-fry, China rings a bell because that is their identity. I thought I'd be nice to do something from that region since I have not had a taste from there. This potato stir-fry was quick and taste amazingly different.
I was inspired by making something different with my potatoes. Having a regular taste can be exhausting, with this stir-fry, I have found myself a new style of dish. This is creativity!
You don't need to buy something new, just make use of what is available for you and let the creativity flow!

I love how you mix local flavors with global twists – it inspires so much creative fusion.
This week 6 engagement is so interesting. I really love how you prepare the potatoes. Although I'm not a fan of it but this one really look yummy.
