The diarygame 17/12/2025: Adding more knowledge to my baking skill and farming.

The Steemit learning challenge has been helping me a lot. I did my first practical cake from one of the challenges here; I made some mistakes, and my second attempt was better.

Today I went to my sister's house, and she was preparing a cake for an occasion that will take place on Saturday. @chiglamour02 is a professional baker who makes a living from her work. I saw how she baked a four-layer cake, and all the steps came out yummy and brown.I carefully observed how she tested the cake and turned both sides without the cake breaking into pieces. She removed the cake from the oven and allowed it to cool off before removing it from the pan.

I learned a lot from her, and I'm grateful to know someone like her.
In the afternoon I took a walk into my neighbor's farm; there they have many fruits and vegetables such as okra, cucumber, pineapple, garden eggs, tomatoes, eggplant, pumpkin, oranges, and soursop, to mention but a few.

This farm is rich; I commend the effort of my neighbor because farming takes a lot of strength and time. I pray that when it is time for harvest, he will bring out bountiful fruits and veggies.
In the evening, it was quiet. When I tried to inquire, I was told that so many families went out to enjoy themselves at the ongoing Akwa Ibom State Christmas Village, where every village is displaying their cultural heritage.I watched how the evening was going, and with no market at times, boom, my friend and his son came to my place.I welcomed them and gave them some cucumber that I brought from my neighbor's farm.After she left, the stress became lively again as people were returning from their family outing. I considered my day an awesome one, and I decided to document it on Steemit. Cheers.
