The Diary Game : Conducting the First Exercise for the Term in my School (20/1/2026)

Hi guys!

Hope you're doing great over there. Yesterday was hectic and exhaustive for me at work place. I took the students on an exercise that lasted for an hour. It was the first for the term. The excitement, the activeness and the interest among the students were unspeakable. This was how it went.

Every Tuesday of a new week is designed for exercise in my school. Tbe belief that all work and no play, makes Jack a dull boys, informed the setting aside of this day for the students and teachers. The Game Masters wasn't available in school and I was asked to take the students on an exercise. Although impromptu, I did my best.

After home engagements by 6.45 am, I left for school. At arrival, the principal called me to his office that I would be the one to help in exercise that day. I wanted turning down the request but I later accepted it. I wanted to do something different from the conventional exercise that students have been having. So I divided the students into groups to be led by the senior students. At a point, I had to show them example exercise I was looking for and they guide the students from each group.

I had to guide them on an interesting exercise that would strengthen their muscles and prepare their brains for mental work. Series of exercises were available for the students. A few teachers also participated.

The students were so excited that they wished they had enough time. Although some of them felt weak and tired, majorly were happy. As I gave them samples of what I needed, I also exercised myself. It has been a long time since I was involved in exercise.

When the exercise ended by 10am, I was weak and had to wait for sometimes before teaching. I felt pains on my joints because I have not exercise for a time.

I came back home by 4 pm. I had to refresh myself and then took a nap. When I woke up, I prepared a supper for my family. When my wife came back from work to see cooked food, she was so happy with me that she promised to buy me a pair of shoes.

By 9pm, I went to watch Champions League match between Arsenal and Inter Milan. I was so happy that an English team won the match. I support English team. I came back by almost 11 pm to sleep.
