Assalamu Alaikum. how are you all. I hope everyone is safe by the grace of God. I am also fine Alhamdulillah.I am participating | SLC-S28/W3-“Local Taste, Global Twist| Healthy Local Cuisine. Thank you @ninapenda for this challenge.
To participate in this contest, I will make a healthy recipe "Chidar Polao".Flattened rice is popular in our country. Various types of dishes can be made with Flattened rice. Especially when new rice grows in the farmer's house, everyone makes this Flattened rice and then makes various types of delicious dishes (yogurt chidar, chidar naru, coconut powder) with this Flattened rice. Today, from inspiration, I will try a popular recipe in my own way.

| Chicken | 1/4 cup |
| Carrot | 1/2 cup |
| Bean sprout | 2 tbs |
| Long bean | 1/4 cup |
| Cabbage | 1/2 cup |
| Cauliflower | 1/4 cup |
| Onion chopped | 1 tbs |
| Coriander leaves | 1 tbs |
| Black pepper powder | 1 tsp |
| Ginger paste | 1 tsp |
| Garlic paste | 1 tsp |
| Oil | 2 tbs |
| Salt | As require |

To make Chira Polao, wash the flattened rice thoroughly. Then soak it in water for 2-3 minutes, this will make the flattened rice soft.

Now I will put a pan on the stove and add one tablespoon of oil in it. When the oil is hot, I will lightly fry the onion and garlic in it. When the onion and garlic aroma comes out, I will add the chopped chicken in it. Fry the chicken a little and fry it well with the ginger garlic paste.I add 1 tsp salt in this time.

When the chicken is lightly fried, I add the previously chopped carrots, long beans, bean sprouts, black pepper powder, and green chilies and mix well.

After mixing all the ingredients well, I will add the shredded cabbage. After mixing well with the cabbage, I will add the drained chira. When it is done cooking, I will sprinkle chopped coriander leaves on top. My healthy and delicious chira pola is ready to serve.
Final Look
I added chicken because I am making it as a complete meal. So I added chicken as protein in it. It is a perfect dish in every way because it has vegetables, carbohydrates, and a little oil, so almost all the nutrients that are beneficial for us are available here. I added a little black pepper along with the green chili because I like the aroma of black pepper and it will add a light spiciness to it.
The new version of chira polao taste was really different and delicious. Chira Polao made with chicken and vegetables really gave me a positive taste and feeling. The soft soft chira grains and the juiciness of the vegetables and chicken added a different dimension. In this recipe, I also added coriander leaves and a little chili powder to it which added a different aroma which enhanced its taste many times over. And the crunchiness like carrots, cauliflower, was able to affect the taste a little more.
This can be an ideal dish for those who are health conscious. Because I have used relatively more vegetables in making this chira pulao where the amount of carbohydrates and oil is less. Chira stays in our stomach for a long time, thus controlling hunger. Moreover, I have used different types of vegetables and each vegetable has some special nutritional value that we can get through it. If someone wants, they can add any other easily available vegetables to it. Instead of chicken, someone can use eggs in this recipe.

Hola amiga, esta receta me recuerda al arroz primavera 😋 a mi me gusta mucho degustar el arroz así con este estilo. Me gustaría probar el childar de yogurt que mencionas, soy de buen comer te cuento y pienso que la comida es uno de los mejores placeres.
