Hello movie lovers!!

Welcome to week 4 of movie magic! So far it's been a great ride moving from week 1 to week 3 and now we are at week 4.

Last week we looked into movies about Inner strength, speaking of courage and resilence. It's was amazing to see many participants share movies along that line, I personally enjoyed all the movies shared.

Here is what I have for week 4.

Week 4: Movies That Challenge Society

Focus for the week:

Culture, injustice, norms

Our focus for the week is on culture, injustice and norms that should be challenged, that's why the title for the week is on movies that challenge society.

The culture of a people is said to be the way of life but there are some cultures that are seen as injustice, some have been there for a very long time and when anyone tries to challenge it could be seen as rabel. There are also norms too like that in tribes, countries and nation.

I would want you to share movies that challenge such culture and norms. There are many movies along at area. Let's get on with the task for the week.

Task for the week

• Watch a movie that speaks of injustice, challenging a norm or a culture and respond to the following Questions

• What social issue did the movie highlight?

• Did it change how you see this issue?

• How is this theme discussed this week relevant today?
