Despite the current situation and state of things around the crypto world and the country, we can say The Nigerian National Steemit Meetup 2.0, 2025 was a success.
The day was epic as the Steemit National Meetup 2.0 was everything one could've hoped for and more. Everyone arrived buzzing with anticipation, and the energy in the air was infectious as it was full of smiles and pleasantries seeing each others. It was a day dedicated to the Nigerian Steemit community, and it definitely delivered.
The event kicked off with introductions and a warm welcome amongst each other. The anchor of the show Bossj23 did an amazing job of setting the stage for a day of learning and connection. The main focus of the meetup was the series of lectures from some of the most respected and knowledgeable Steemians from Nigeria.
Theme: the growth of Nigerian steemians in Steemit Blockchain, challenges, and gains.

First up was Xkool24, who gave a fantastic talk on what Steemit is and what it meant to have such as a platform and create meaningful and engaging conversations. He broke down the key elements of crafting engaging posts, from brainstorming ideas to writing compelling headlines and structuring contents for maximum impact. His words were so inspiring that it had people immediately jotting down ideas for my next few posts.
Next up was Ngoeyi, as she delivers a lecture on the theme of the day, the growth of Nigerian steemians in Steemit Blockchain, challenges, and gains. She did well to enlighten everyone how the Nigerian Steemit community could grow on the platform, the challenges they faced and the gains awaiting them if they carried on with commitment and open mind. She used real-world examples and analogies to illustrate how the Steemit platform works, why it's important, and how it relates to our everyday life.
Okere-blessing then took the stage to share her secrets on how to grow one's Steemit account on onboarding newbies as she gave out practical tips on how to increase visibility, attract followers, and build a strong online presence. She talked about the importance of consistent posting, engaging with the community, and using relevant tags.
Bossj23 gave a masterclass on photography. He explained how to take great pictures using our phones, how to use the available light, and how to create the best shots considering angles and height. While also demonstrating all his lessons right in front of everyone.
The floor was then opened for question and discussion, this gave Kinkyarmiee the opportunity to share her knowledge of programming and also making a promise to help those really interested in this topic with her publications.
Indeed, it was a great session but it wasn't all just serious learning. There were fun games and activities throughout the day. There was a trivia contest, which was a blast coupled with give aways. It was so great to connect with people from all over the country as the likes of Kinkyarmiee, Xkool24 and Sahmie came from cities far away to share experiences, and make new friends.
Of course, no meetup would be complete without good food, music, and dance. There was a delicious meal accompanied with drinks for everyone. The music was awesome, with a mix of popular tunes and local beats. The dance floor was packed, and everyone was having a blast.
