Life in my city

‎Hello my fellow steemians welcome to my blog. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm here to drop my contribution to this wonderful contest. I also want to use this medium to thank @ruthjoe for organizing this contest. I hope your week is going fine. Let's get to hear my opinion and contribution to this contest.

So far this year, is there something new in your city you would like to share with us? Fuel increase, price of things, a protest, a robbery or any other gist.

‎
‎A lot has happened in my city. The hardship has effected everyone. I even talked to my client who stays in America and she told me that the hardship is global. That president Donald Trump has pushed money that was meant to take care of the people to find war between Iran and Israel. This has also affected us here because our fuel price is up. We're just coping with the economy. However, I thank God for the governor of Akwa Ibom State. He working hard to make sure he eliminate hardship in his state. I was even given the opportunity to work with some crew members on art and design in my city Uyo. I thank God for his provisions.

Can you say you have made any progress so far this year? Tell us about it.

‎Honestly this year is really tough. However I will like to say that regardless of the situation I kept moving forward with a positive attitude because life is for the living. I have made a lot of progress in my relationship and career. I bought myself books on relationship and marriage just to educate myself on how to build better bonds with people around me. This year I have been able to secure some few contract that have taught me lessons. I have done some free artworks for friends. Generally I have tried as much as possible to stay afloat.

If you have an opportunity of making your city better what will you do?

‎I would empower the youths. I would ask for funds from the government to help me help the youths and other people who are not in the right direction.
‎
‎I would create job for graduates. Money is just an illusion. If you work smart then you will definitely earn well.

‎I know what I'm going through after I left school. Fro that reason I would do anything to get people who have graduated employed and we'll to do.

Let's say you are given a choice to decide to leave your city to another city better than your current one and would be sponsored or you are given a huge amount of money to stay back in your city, what will be your choice? And why?

‎I will stay back in my city, collect the money and start a very lucrative business that would even fetch me money to travel around to other cities and sell franchise to other smart business minded fellows. No city is so better, we make it so, perhaps with our thinking. So I prefer to establish a business in my city and be traveling to other cities like I said

‎Since this is a contest I want my friends to also be enlightened of it. So I want to use this opportunity to invite them.
