What does it mean to "Dare To Be Different"

What does "Dare to be Different" mean not doing what others are doing, but doing things in your own way as it pleases you.

If I dare myself to be different from my friends or colleagues it simply means I want to be doing things on my own, I don't want to be doing things that would make anyone feel happy, or do things based on the recommendation of anyone. Also, it means acting differently from others.

Have you ever dared to be different? If yes, share with us your experience.

Yes, I have ever dared to be different. While in school during my first year I told myself that I wouldn't go into relationship which I said before I even started schooling, but when I found myself in campus having roommates and friends that keeps talking about relationships, double dating, I almost got tempted to break my roles, but I didn't because I had already dared myself that I wouldn't go into relationship during my first, and second years in the university which I did.

Did you maintain your stand to the end by being different or did you join others eventually?

I maintain my stand at the event by being different because it was a personal decision that I took for myself without seeking any validation from anyone. Although, I received a lot of insults from my friends simply because I dared to be different from them they did a lot of things for me to join them, but I still didn't join them in that kind of relationship.

Do you think daring to be different is always worth it?

It depends on what we're daring to be different from. Sometimes it is worth it but sometimes it is not worth it because it is not everything that glitters that isgold and not everything that looks bad is really bad. If it's worth it for you to think about daring to be different, you can be, but if it's not worth it, then you can join others.
