Action 1: In desperation, I move south and wait for the runners to catch up to me. (unless I get some miraculous bonus roll that changes my mind and I attack instead).

I'd love to save the "can't miss" for tomorrow because without a shotgun, it doesn't do me much good. I needed an extra action, so I'll go with the original plan of moving south.
