Garri Processing

Garri is produced from raw cassava from the farm, even though it contains a high level of starch, it equally contains protein, crude fibre, anti nutrient composition etc.

Do you know that the presence of fibre and B17 vitamin in garri helps to prevent the stomach from cancer and also stimulates the red blood cell.

Let me share with you how to process CASSAVA into GARRI in my place
First Step: Harvest your cassava from the farm.
Second Step: Peel the Cassava roots
Third Step: Wash the cassava root carefully.
Fourth Step: Take it to the grating machine and mash
Fifth Step: Allow the mashed cassava to ferment in order to remove the hydrocyanic acid.
