If only what you love most would never stop looking at you and being there for you. I find myself consumed by a thick fog that prevents me from thinking or seeing clearly. The red thread that binds us remains, but the distance I feel grows. My jealousy is nothing more than the constant fear of losing you, an abyss that seems have no end.

Those shadows that move away are the ones I love the most, those that have always been there for me, and me for them. Whether it's jealousy from a partner, a friend, or family members, the emptiness is the same.

Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me? Maybe I am exaggerating? Maybe I have lost control of my own thoughts and emotions. So many questions arise from a single moment in which I feel I could lose everything. Maybe it is my selfishness manifesting.

But why does the one I love most not notice my achievement, yet appreciate someone else's? I can't help but sink into a sea of conflicting emotions: anger, fear, insecurity, anxiety, and a profound sadness. I feel like my world is a painting shattering because of jealousy I can't control.

It presents jealousy from an unusual or unexpected angle.

The drawing depicts jealousy in an unusual way and how it can break the mind. Every detail of the drawing is meticulous, such as the cloud that consumes thoughts and emotions, and the torn leaf, which represents emotional breakdown; the red thread is the connection between two people and symbolizes love.

In this art, you only need to have a good eye to see small details like color. It also presents the jealousy of partners, friends, and family. It is a mix of them, since not only partner jealousy exists.

What triggers this emotion in your piece?

The main part highlights some distorted figures that move away, but it is only under their perception; it is their own blindness due to jealousy. Since they are clearly there, but their fear of losing them and them relating to someone else creates a line of separation. This shows the little control over their feelings and not being able to change or control the situation.

If we look at the drawing, there is a "jealousy" that few take into account; the poster says "achievement," but important people do not seem to notice. She feels jealous that they look at someone else and not at her; that generates internal tension, raises questions, and above all, anxiety.

Does your interpretation show jealousy as destructive, protective, or transformative?

I show it in a destructive and uncontrollable way, since it is a situation that is difficult to control and requires a lot of maturity to achieve calm. Every detail of the drawing shows this: the sadness on the young woman's face and how the important people seem to distort and move away. The black cloud that consumes all her emotions. It is a deep emotional burden, and the torn painting is the emotional breakdown of this.
