Hello everyone. I hope you're all doing good. I'm here today for a contest about animal activities brought by @xkool24. I'm here to share a story about a Deer.

As a child, I had storytimes alot with my mother. Most evenings while we sit outside with other kids, story time is what makes our evening. The story goes like this.

In a forest filled with towering trees and winding streams, a majestic female deer named Lush lived an elegant life. Her coat was a rich, chestnut brown, and her eyes shone bright, polished onyx. She had a deep connection to the natural world and a free to earth deer.

Lush usually spent her days exploring the forest, discovering hidden glades and secret waterways as she loved to explore. She was a curious creature, always sniffing and prowling, seeking out new sights, sounds, and scents as a hobby.

One day, as Lush wandered through the path of a particularly dense forest, she came across a young fawn, trembling with fear. She feared for the little one as it had wandered away from its mother and was now alone and lost.

Lushes instincts kicked in, and she gently cuddles the fawn, comforting it with soft bleats. She searched the area entirely while calling out to the fawn's mother, but she didn't get any response. It seemed the fawn was really lost and alone.

Without hesitation, Lush took it upon herself to care for the little one(being the surrogate mother). She was excited to care for the fawn. She feeds it, protects it from harm, and taught it the ways of the forest. As the days passed, the fawn grew stronger, and its bond with Lush grew deeper.

As the seasons changed, Lush and the fawn, whom she named Pamble explored the forest together. They chased butterflies, played in the sunshine, and danced under the stars. Lush had never felt such joy and purpose.

But as Pamble grew older, Lush knew it was time to let it go. She had taught the young deer everything it needed to know, and now it was time for Pamble to make its own way in the world.

With a final nuzzle, Lush bid farewell to Pamble, watching as the young deer disappeared into the trees. She felt a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that she had helped raise a strong and confident young deer. And as she turned to make her way back through the forest, Lush felt a sense of peace, knowing that she had made a difference in the life of another creature.

Lesson learnt, is that it's good to be good to others in need. I would like to invite @josepha, @zory23 and @blessedlife to join this contest.
