Animal Activities #49: The world of Owls
Hello my dear Steemians,

It is Saturday today and we went for little walk, because it is before Christmas we always expect some interesting events. That is why we went to shopping centre.
It was a bit festive, I am saying a bit because still not many decorated area. I think probably next week will be busy time with decorating the windows of shops.
While passing along the hall, we arrived to little area, with some boxes of ground, I actually thought that it is still people preparing something. Slowly when we approached closer we noticed that the women who were there one was holding a little owl on her arm, when we came closer to them we noticed a little owl, it was only approximately 20 cm in the height and it was very cute one.
This one is a bit bigger and first it was not looking to me, I believe because there were too many people, noises and the owls were looking all around very curiously. I was patient and was really with my camera, after sometimes it turned its head to me and I managed to get him into my picture.
This one is still sitting in his box, it is very shy and does not want to come out. I was thinking maybe it likes dark places, normally they live in forests and also usually active in the night. People were looking into the box just trying to find out how it looks like but we could have only very tiny pick.
This is another owl, his art of owls are from South Africa, it is also relatively small bird but it has no fear and seems like know people well, it is about 7 years old. These birds were there to demonstrate that this organisation there to protect wild life in Scotland. Of course, we have contributed with some donation to this organisation.

Indeed after seeing Harry Potter for me owls are very special. I believe in many cultures and nations these birds considered to be wise but also they are very mysterios maybe because they are also very different from each other.
