Weekend greetings to you all Steemians , do have an incredible weekend.

Here to share my perspective on this week given title , because is being the kind of agricultural practice that has not been conventionally carryout much if not at all locally.

And I have such direct experience on mulching , right in our compound garden . Did exercise then , on the water leafs bed.

The mulching activity then carryout on our water leafs bed within the compound garden. Was uniquely on two purpose.

• First ,it was to prevent too much loss of moisture within the water leafs bed , so as to enable well blossoming or germination of those planted water leafs stems.

• Next , was to afford the water leafs to have more organic nutrients essential enough for the growth and fineness of the planted water leafs. Necessitate by the decompose of the mulching leaves.

"About Mulching"

Mulching: is the nature of an agricultural activity carry out either on the whole assigned agricultural land portion and ,or directly on the designated plants roots area.

Mulching is the covering of the topsoil basically for an agricultural purpose.

And mulching usually involve two unique nature , which are the organic and the inorganic nature.

Briefly.

Organic nature of mulching are that type of mulching through which the potential farmer make use of living substance to cover the topsoil or the roots related area of the selected plants. Such as leaves clippers, bark , straw and weeded weeds among other.

Inorganic nature of mulching are the kind of mulching whereby the farmer uses non living substance and or synthetic substance to cover the selected topsoil and or the plants root area. The man made substance such as plastic sheet , waste rubbers and all of that.

"Importance of mulching"

Through the posted image visible above there if you wonder at all. Let it be plain that such is an integral part of mulching.

And that activity is being carry out on a purpose, in which I would forward it as an importance of mulching.

• Mulching activity help prevent soil erosion and enhance the plants growing to edible state.

• Mulching activity help the plants and the affected topsoil to keep maintaining moisture even during drought and temporary dry season.

• Mulching activity most especially the organic nature do contribute largely on the topsoil and soil health and nutrients.

• Mulching activity reduce the direct sunlight effect on the selected plants roots and also prevent too much water evaporation.

• Mulching activity most especially the inorganic nature do help prevent weeds germination and directly reducing competition among growing plants.
