A. What are some ways we can meet our husbands’ needs?
1). We can honor our husbands
Psalm 45:11. For your royal husband delights in your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord.
2). We can accept our husbands’ authority.
1 Peter 3:5. That is the way the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They trusted God and accepted the authority of their husbands.
3). We can give them joy
Proverbs 12:4. A worthy wife is her husband’s joy and crown; a shameful wife saps his strenght.
4). We can be trustworthy.
Proverbs 31:11. Her husband can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life.
5). We can think of ways to please them.
1 Corinthians 7:34. The married woman must be concerned about her earthly responsibilities and how to please her husband.
B. How can we best help our huabands if they don’t know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord?
Godly, loving role modeling is the best way to witness to an unbelieving mate.
1 Corinthians 7:13-16. If a Christian woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he is willing to continue living with her, she must not leave him.
For the Christian wife brings holiness to his marriage. Otherwise, your children would not have a godly influence, but now they are set apart for him. … You wives must remember that your husbands might be converted because of you.
1 Peter 3:1. In the same way, you wives must accept the authority of your husbands, even those who refuse to accept the Good News.
Your godly lives will speak to them better than any words. They will be won over.
