Yup - people don't value 1 cents these days, because they don't understand the value :D I love SBI and I'm very sure the people who were still active in these bear markets collected the most... That's a good thing in my opinion :-)
It is interesting to see how many people are talking about 'low payouts' - a vote from a 500 SP account is a vote from a 500 SP account. Period. We really need to do something about that dollar sign below our posts like @steempeak does, but okay, I digress...

ya. the math of it is very tricky and a simple steem payout would suffice. pretty sure that was developed to entice bloggers when steemit first started.

We need to allow users to see the steem value of a post instead of the nonsense "stu" number that every front end presently shows.
