Dear friends,

after the overwhelming success of my first #steembay auction, I want to give it another go.

This time I want to sell a drawing, that I finished some days ago. It's done using ballpoint pen on ribbed 90g DIN A4 paper. The drawing itself has a size of about 16x18 cm.

Here are some images, that show the making of:

Auction process

When you want to bid for this drawing, you have to comment with bid + the amount you're willing to pay. As I will pay for the shipping, I will set the starting price to 3 SBD, so please make sure, that your bid is higher than that.

After the end of the auction you must be willing to provide me your shipping address. I'd suggest, that you contact me on steemit.chat (@shortcut) to do so. I will then send the drawing to you and you pay me the SBDs of your winning bid, after you received the drawing.

Good luck with the bidding and have fun!

Danke @pollux.one ! Drücke dir die Daumen ;-)

@pollux.one's bid of 6.000 SBD has been overbid by @anonymous.donor's bid of 10.000 SBD

i'm just about to start one of these myself. the idea behind it is so damn cool! :)

You really should! It's much fun and supports the Steem economy, because the Steem/Sbds remain on the platform.

it's up :) let's see what happens :) i met one of the guys who made it at steemfest 2 and i've been wanting to try it when i got back :)

Yes, I know @pollux.one and @schererf - They are Germans too and did a great job with this tool. Cool, that you give it a go :-)

of course, i really loved the sound of it and also i was thinking of this for other things too. imagine if this was used for virtual working hours, or just resources in general in a local city, paying for sims for digital nomads to be collected at an airport, transportation hires, the sharing economy. the scope is kinda huge.

Very cool! I like a lot, that you see the big picture and I totally agree, that this can become huge. Will tell @pollux.one about your ideas (if he's not already reading this thread).

yeah we discussed them briefly outside the venue. i'm sure he will see this. it's the reason i'm testing the bot to see the flow really.

Its an amazing drawing... Wish I could have bought it but I don't have money to bid.. So I will just be a bystander and watch the lucky person who wins the auction...

Thanks a lot for letting me know, that you like it. Maybe next time you will have enough sbds ;-)

Yeah may be.. lol

nice painting, hope some decent bid auction here.

Thank you, although it's rather a drawing, than a painting ;-)

This is great.love it😊

That is very beautiful painting my friend.

It's more like a drawing, but thanks anyways ;-)

The #steembay Auction has finished.
The winning bidder is @anonymous.donor with an amount of 10.000 SBD - Congratulations!

Congratulations for winning the auction! Please contact me at steemit.chat (shortcut) and provide me the address, I should send the drawing to. Have a great day!

I am an anonymous donor, and there is no way that I will tell you my address, even if I am quite sure that you would not reveal it to anybody.
I just sent you the 10 SBDs: check your wallet.
Please, send the drawing to @pollux.one, who really wants to have a drawing/painting from you.

BTW, you and me have met in Lisbon, during SteemFest2. Of course, not as @anonymous.donor.

Thanks @anonymous.donor :-) I really appreciate your generosity and your support for the community.

I actually figured, that it would be difficult to send you the piece (while you remain anonymous) and I'm pretty sure, that @pollux.one will be very happy about your decision.

Although I have an idea, who you might be, I'm not 100% sure. But I guess, that's OK for you. Looking forward to meeting you at Steemfest³! Stay awesome and Steem on!

did nor realize how old this post was :)

I don't know how else to thank @anonymousdonor or where to sent him a thank you comment, because I benefited from his generosity too, so I though that maybe the best way to say thank you is to follow his example and bid with the same message - send your drawing to @pollux.one

so 11 sbd it is , love the drawing and hope we will talk more about art :)
ps. let me know how to proceed with this I never participated in an action before

Thanks a lot for your comments and the appreciation of my drawing.

Usually the auction is open until the payout of the post (7 days). After that, the highest bidder will get the piece. While the auction is open, you can comment with "bid x" while x is your bid in SBD. I'm sure, I will do some more art auctions in the near future and hopefully there will be something of interest for you to bid on.

P.S.: I'm really happy to see generous people like @anonymousdonor supporting the arts at Steemit.

check your wallet I did not saw how old this post was, love the drawing and hope you come to my blog too :)

Wow! I’m speechless... Are you sure? I’d love to share your gift with my followers, but I want to make sure, that it wasn’t a mistake, because you thought, you could get the drawing. Already followed you and will certainly check your latest posts ;-)

This was very generous of you, I wonder how @pollux.one must have felt when you raised the price, but all along you had the intention of giving back to him, it's in giving we receive. Not many people can relate to this, some give only when they are worshipped but you chose to stay anonymous.

Bid accepted! Highest bid is now @anonymous.donor's bid of 10.000 SBD
