@liliana.duarte this happened to me! Many years ago in the late 90s, I was using a subway to travel into Washington DC from my Virginia suburban home for my daily commute to my job. I fell asleep on the train one day, and missed a transfer to the line that would take me out of the city and back into my neighboring state. I woke up in the "yard station" when the train stopped as well. I had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to come through the train with a broom and wipes, doing their light cleaning that they do between runs and they told me the same, eventually the train will reverse and get back to my transfer station. It took me an extra hour or more to get home, and I was young, married, and had a baby. I've been divorced for 15 years now, but I still think my ex-wife never believed I wasn't up to something else that afternoon. :)
