Matthew 5:13 New King James Version (NKJV)

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

Hi there mi brothers and sisters from steemit and steemchurch.

This scripture is known for the Christian Believer, for which my desire is not to make it known but to call the attention of every Christian who can read this post to unleash the power of the promises that God has given us for his life. In this way we can live the fullness of God walking in his purpose and will.

God in his knowledge of all things has left us a mandate: to manifest his glory on this earth. (Mt 5: 16-18)
And this, however difficult it may be, is possible.

God has left us a powerful principle that when we know and apply it manifests in our lives not only the power of God but the nature of God in us.

Our lives have a purpose, in every area, every place of influence, our work, our school, our friends, our church or ministry. There is a purpose of God for us to make a difference where we are, the expectation of God is that we show his essence in us living a life that pleases him.
It is exactly where the power of salt must manifest itself.

Romans 12:1 New International Version (NIV)
A Living Sacrifice
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Our life as an offering to God is the demonstration that we really want to live for him, so we need to present ourselves as an offering that pleases him.

Leviticus 2:13 New King James Version (NKJV)
And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with salt; you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your grain offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt.

Salt has many natural qualities that make it a very valuable resource, but from the biblical and spiritual point of view, it represents the essence that makes our life an offering pleasing to God, therefore God demands that we take care never to present in front of him an offering without salt.

The salt is used to cure, prevents the proliferation of many germs and prevents the decomposition of the meat. It is a naturally powerful preservative.
At the same time our spiritual life is saturated with salt, we are enabled to preserve our lives for the purpose of God. It is the Salt that makes the difference, what makes our lives an offering that pleases God, and as Jesus said that we are the salt of the earth, we can say that we are the ones God wants to use to make a difference between the current of this world and the kingdom of God.

But if the salt loses its its flavor, how shall it be seasoned?

Losing our flavor is losing the purpose for which we were designed by God, it is losing our identity. As young people we are tempted by passions, by our pride, but also we are affected by betrayals and disappointments to the point of losing our identity and without realizing we lose our flavor, that quality that made us different and towards our lives a pleasant offering for God.

If your life is a cycle of unsolved problems, of constant struggle against some sin that you can not leave, if there is something in your life that does not please God even though you are aware of it you can not change it, then you have been losing your favor and You are at risk of being discarded.

With everything, the mercy of God reaches us through this teaching that allows us to understand, that God does not give up on us, he has a plan for your life and will fulfill it if you are willing to take a step of faith.

How can the power of salt manifest itself in my life?

2 Kings 2 New King James Version (NKJV)
19 Then the men of the city said to Elisha, “Please notice, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water is bad, and the ground barren.”

20 And he said, “Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

21 Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness ”.

To change the history of this city, Elisha asks for two things: a new bowl and salt inside it.

The first (New bowl) represents a regeneration through repentance.

The second (salt), represents a new communion, the power of healing, of restoring things according to their original design.

The story of your life, your home, your family, your business, your business, your ministry can change today if you receive this principle in your life to unleash the power of God in your favor and see things change your around for the better.

2 Kings 2: 21b "Thus says the Lord: 'I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness. "

May you today receive the nature of heaven, and the healing of God to free you from death, from sickness and from barrenness in the name of Jesus. Amen.

God bless you all.
