SEEKING AFTER YOUR DESIRES
One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek after that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and enquire in his temple. Psalm 27:4
In the first few words of the opening scripture, we are made aware that the psalmist David carried a desire in his heart; which was to dwell continuously in the house of God. Yet David did not only have a desire in his heart but as the verse says continued to seek after it as well. This is where David differs from most Christians. They too like David carry similar noble desires in their heart but make little or no effort to attain what they desire. The desire of the Christian should not be relegated to his heart alone but should be seen in his actions.
One of the first places to start seeking is the scriptures. In previous times, when seeking for the contact and address of a someone, you would first have to look in a phonebook to know how to reach them. In the same way the scriptures is our first point of call in seeking after our desire. It is filled with nuggets of wisdom and loads of experience to reach that desired destination. Psalm 119:105 says, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light for my path."
Let that lamp guide you in your search for God and in fulfilling the desires of your heart.
LIFE APPLICATION
Search for scriptures that speak on achieving what you desire and be a doer of it and not just a hearer.
PRAYER
Father, teach me your ways that I may seek after you.
The ways of man is not the ways of God, so to goes on with one's desire, he have to seek for God intervention.

Amen. It's always good that we make our desires be in line with the scriptures.
That is the only way we cab achieve suceess.
Our desires demonstrate how we love God,and will always help us to seek after God.
