The Bible tells us that God has blessed us in heavenly places with Christ.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who hath blessed us with spiritual blessings in heavenly places in christ."

These are some scriptures in the bible that tells us salvation in christ is what we need.
Matthew 19:25-26
(25) When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
(26)Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Romans 10:9-10
(9) If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
(10) For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
Hebrew 17:25
" Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them."
There are four steps to salvation;
- Admit your sins and mistakes:
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:23
One cannot be forgiven if he stands defence against his sins committed, you have to admit your wrong before mercy comes your way, yes I have sinned, yes I have made a grave mistake, I come before you lord stripped of shame,in total acceptance of all my wrongdoings.
That is why confession is important in the Catholic faith, confess your sins and put the devil to shame because he wants you to be in denial.
- Repent and ask forgiveness:
"for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"
1john 1:9
For all have fallen short of the glory of God and sinned, take note of the word 'all', the bible did no say some have sinned it says all have sinned, so do not feel any sort of exclusion, do not feel totally cut out from the grace of God rather be sorry,be sober go on your knees and ask for forgiveness, he is ever willing to welcome you with open arms, he said he isn't here for the saints but for the sinners,to save them! And who are the sinners, you and I, so brethren embrace the good graces of the lord and ask him for forgiveness.
- Believe that God loves you:
"God commendeth his love towards us,in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us"
Romans 5:8
God's love cannot be measured,he created us,do you know how much inventors love their inventions, or how designers love their designs? Exactly, a lot, a whole lot, now that is not even comparable to what the lord feels for us, we are his children and he breath the breathe of life in us, he sacrificed his precious son for our sake, never ever ever doubt God's love for you.
- Invite God into your life:
"behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him and be with him and he with me"
Revelation 3:20
God wants to feel wanted, he wants to feel loved because he gives his love unconditionally, so you have to ask him to make your heart is home, like the women of faith song"come and make my heart your home, come and be everything I am and all I know..." It is an invitation to God to reside within you.
Have a blessed day!!
