Can man glory in something?

Man and Woman of God many blessings for you I share these short lines today with you as a way of reflection since in recent times the arrogance of man has become very common in the church of Christ.

God created man, giving him a spirit, as well as a body and a soul, which differentiates him from all other living beings.

He also prepared a home to be inhabited temporarily by the successive generations of humanity - the Earth - which is a planet different from all the other stars that exist in the universe, because it was arranged in such a way so that it can sustain natural life by centuries and centuries.

Man was given the ability to create many things, however, none of this would be possible if he had not received from God everything that respects life and its maintenance.

What then has the man to boast about other than God?

How can he glory in his deeds forgetting that he has received everything from the great Creator, including intelligence, gifts, the ability to create in the natural world from everything that has been made available to him by God?

This configures not only great ingratitude, but also foolishness, because in the end, in the great spiritual creation that will remain eternally, when everything else is worn out and destroyed by use and time, man was not created to create anything, neither those of the present and those that are promised for the future.

Who can operate miracles by their own power?

Who can justify, regenerate and sanctify himself?

Who knows about himself the way of heaven?

Can anyone control the Holy Spirit who is the great architect of the spiritual life, which is through faith in Jesus Christ?

In which man can glory then, but only in knowing and belonging to Him through whom and for whom all things are.
