When God Steps In

in #steemchurch6 years ago (edited)

God can do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask and can even think of, the Bible says. He is a God of possibilities and nothing is too bigger for Him to do. Where our strength fails or we have no more strength to carry on is where He steps in and turn things around.

There is this powerful and inspirational song that I love so much which was composed by Alvin Slaughter titled "That's when He Steps In"

When we have a work to do
And the task ahead seems bigger than you
That's when He steps in

When you know in your heart that God's command
Takes more than can be done by man
That's when He steps in

He sees you at the point of your need
He sees you at the point of crossing your Red Sea
In the moment you call
When you've given your all
He steps in, He steps in

And He'll say,
What's that you have in your hand
I can use it, if you're willing to lose it
Take the little you have and make it grand
I am El-Shaddai and I'll more than supply your need

When all you have is oil in a jar
That's a reflection of where you are
That's when He steps in

A little boy's lunch of fish and bread
Is all you have for the need ahead
That's when He steps in

Let Him take it and bless it and break it and give it
He'll multiply it in the moment you live it
And in the moment you call
When you've given your all,
He steps in, He steps in
And He'll say,He'll say

What's that you have in your hand
I can use it, if you're willing to lose it
Take the little you have and make it grand
I am El-Shaddai and I'll more than supply
I'll supply
I will supply your need

He Steps In When The Task Ahead Seems Bigger Than Us

God created us to rely solely on Him and no one else. He knows our strengths and weaknesses and knows what we can posisbly band do and also what we can't do. He gives strength to the weary and those who lacks none and He is merciful to all who call on him.

He never let us alone go through the journey of life alone for He has promised to be with us when we through the fire and the rivers. He never promised anyone one of us a smooth journey in life but only a date arrival.

There will be nothing too difficult for you to do if you rely on His strength to carry you through. What is so difficult and bigger for you to do? Is it about the fulfilling that purpose He gave you, Is it about living a Holy life for Him or separating yourself for His use?

When you know in your heart that what He required of you or commands you is something hard for you today that is the very moment He steps in to show give u strength. God knows that we are weak can't do it alone and so that's why He said " For with God all things are possible Luke 1:37".

He sees You At The Point of Crossing Your Red Sea

God always steps in at the point of need. God never left the children of Isreal alone when He brought them out of Egypt and when they came before the red sea. The sea was a great obstacle that blocked them and gave their enemies an opportunity to pursue and attack them. The sea can be a big problem you are facing or going through in life, it can be something prevent you from entering your promise land but it shall be dried up if only you can call on God for His intervention just like what Moses did:

Then the LORD told Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelis to move out! You are to raise your staff, stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it, so the Israelis may go into the middle of the sea on dry land. Exodus 14:15-16

God used the little staff in Moses hand to divide the bigger sea. Something that had never happened before in the history of man. He allowed God to use the little staff in his hand to cause a great miracle.

God can use us for a greater cause if only If only we can avail ourselves for His use. Whatever you are going through is not not bigger for God to handle.

When All You Have Is A Little Oil In A Jar That When He Steps In

A woman whose husband was a prophet came to Elisha to help her pay her debt and free her sons from be taken to into slavery till debt is paid. This was moment that all hope was gone for she had nothing except a jar or flask of oil. God stepped into her situation by using just a flask of oil to fill all the bottles she had borrowed from her neighbours. This is incredible, our God is a God of miracles who can use even the little you have and what might have despised to bless your life in ways you have never imagined. God steps in when nothing seems to work in our lives, He steps in when situations seems too difficult and ursomountable.

Elisha responded, “What shall I do for you? Tell me what you have in your house.” She replied, “Your servant has nothing in the entire house except for a flask of oil.”He told her, “Go out to all of your neighbors in the surrounding streets and borrow lots of pots from them. Don’t get just a few empty vessels, either. Then go in and shut the door behind you, taking only your children, and pour oil into all of the pots. As each one is filled, set it aside.” So she left Elisha, shut the door behind her and her children, and while they kept on bringing vessels to her, she kept on pouring oil. When the last of the vessels had been filled, she told her son, “Bring me another pot!” But he replied, “There isn’t even one pot left.” Then the oil stopped flowing. After this, she went and told the man of God what had happened. So he said, “Go sell the oil, pay your debt, and you and your children will be able to live on the proceeds.” 2 Kings 4:2-7

When All You Have Is Five Loaves of Bread And Two Fish That when He Steps In

The multitude who had followed Jesus were weary and we're like sheep without a Shepard but all hope was not gone because the good shepherd was still around. He is miracle worker who can use anything thing by blessing it and multiplying it. To feed about 5000 men minus women and children as at that time all he needed was just five loaves of bread and two fish.

When evening had come, the disciples went to him and said, “This is a deserted place, and it’s already late. Send the crowds away so that they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”But Jesus told them, “They don’t need to go away. You give them something to eat.”They told him, “We don’t have anything here except five loaves of bread and two fish.” He said, “Bring them to me.” Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and blessed them. Then he broke the loaves in pieces and gave them to his disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. All of them ate and were filled. Then the disciples picked up what was left of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full. Now those who had eaten were about 5,000 men, besides women and children. Mathew 14:15-21

It is so true that God meets us in our point of need. When He meets us all He does is to supply our need according to His riches in Christ Jesus.. Philippians 4:19.If God can feed 5000 with five bread and two fishes can't He feed you too? If God can multiply a little oil in a jar to pay someone's debt can't He free you too out of any debt situation you are facing? I love the including part of the song which goes like this:

And He'll say,
He'll say
What's that you have in your hand
I can use it, if you're willing to lose it
Take the little you have and make it grand
I am El-Shaddai and I'll more than supply
I'll supply
I will supply your need

God always to look what is in your hand that he can use to give you the miracle you need, He looks for something little to produce give you a bigger returns or results. All you need to do is let let go of the little you have, be your money, gift or sacrifice and let Him make it grand for He is Elshaddai and He is the supplier of all our needs.

I trust you have been inspired?

God is greater than your worries, so if we invite Him in our lives He will do things more than our imagination for us.

GOD truly looks at what is in our hands ,He is a God of miracles and wonder...Thanks @collinz

He uses the little we have in our hand for His use to make it grand @odsam2

We only have to put our trust in God, as 1 Peter 5:7 says that we should cast all our anxieties upon him because he cares for us.
