No one says that it is easy to accept correction, but when we receive it we are truly blessed, especially when we respond and do so with humility.
19 They told Joab: Behold, the king weeps, and he mourns for Absalom. 2 And that day victory turned into mourning for all the people; because he heard the people say that day that the king was grieving for his son. 3 And the people entered the city secretly that day, as shamed people who have fled from battle usually enter secretly. 4 But the king, covering his face, cried out with a loud voice: My son Absalom, Absalom, my son, my son! 5 Then Joab came to the king in the house, and said, Today you have shamed the faces of all your servants, who today have saved your life, and the lives of your sons and your daughters, and the lives of your wives, and the lives of your wives. life of your concubines, 6 loving those who hate you, and hating those who love you; because today you have declared that you care nothing about your princes and servants; For today you have made it clear to me that if Absalom lived, even if we were all dead, then you would be happy. 7 Rise therefore now, and go forth and speak kindly to your servants; because I swear by Jehovah that if you do not come out, there will not be a man left with you tonight; and this will be worse for you than all the evils that have befallen you from your youth until now.
2 Samuel 19:1-7
David was in a moment of deep affliction because he had lost his son, he had listened to crying that had rebuked him regarding leaving aside that loss of his son because he had to lead his people correctly . Later we see that David listened to the guidance coming from God for 40 years and I am very sure that this was not easy for him, but even so, in life he acquired such wisdom that he learned that what he knew was not enough for knowledge. be full, God's direction was necessary, our wisdom is limited.
In the same way, we must be predisposed to seek divine advice through the word of God or trustworthy people who guide us spiritually. There are situations in which the problem is very advanced and the wisdom we need It is to be resolved at the moment. There are situations in which pressure and overwhelm are such that we must be clear to make the best decision, these are compared to those moments when we do not know what decision to make and we need guidance especially from those people who have already traveled the same path long before. us, who have experienced the pain and suffering that we are going through.
It is amazing that we can count on people who strongly exhort us to follow God's path, to fulfill God's call and do not allow us to stray from our path and fulfill our role as children of God. If you are experiencing a problem that seems to have no solution, take a moment, love you, pray to God and ask for guidance so that you can put at your side the people who can help you see this situation more clearly, God can put at your side friends, mentors who have experienced similar situations or who have enough wisdom to offer you help and remove you from that situation, your job is to receive rebuke and help with humility, let us always remember that God is attentive to our situations and seeks desires to do good for us at all times, God wants us to live in fullness of life, are you willing?
