When we turn to the Lord, our failure becomes merely temporary because we turn to Him and receive His help.

And the woman gave birth to a son and named him Samson. And the child grew, and the Lord blessed him. 25 And the Spirit of the Lord began to move upon him in the tents of Dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.

Judges 13:24-25

From the moment a person receives Jesus Christ as their only and sufficient Savior, that new life of Jesus is conceived in them, and they become a new creature and are thus sanctified, set apart for God's purposes. God has a specific plan for the life of each of His children, and He gives each of them everything necessary to carry out His plan.

As his divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and goodness,

2 Peter 1:3

We remember that when Israel was under Philistine rule, each person did what seemed right to them, and at that moment, God acted through Samson's life, setting him apart for his service with a specific mission: to save Israel from the hands of the Philistines.

5 For behold, you will conceive and bear a son, and no razor will come upon his head, for the child will be a Nazirite to God from birth. And he will begin to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines.

Judges 13:5

God gave him a good and godly father, and thus they allowed Samson a healthy upbringing where he developed extraordinary strength. Samson, under the blessing of God and his parents, became a judge over the people of Israel, thus empowered to fulfill God's will. Samson had been trained and endowed with everything necessary to carry out the will and purpose God had proposed to him. But like any man, he had a weakness, and that weakness led to his downfall and the loss of his most important gift, his extraordinary strength. All of this resulted in Samson's suffering and imprisonment, as well as torture and humiliation. But ultimately, Samson turned to God in humility, and God worked through him once again.
Samson had the capacity, endowed with all the potential to do good in God's name. Today, we are no different. God has provided us with everything we need to carry out His plan: security. Let us pray to God, asking Him to help us stay focused on His plan and thus fulfill His perfect will.
