In the presence of God we find joy and peace, we find the fullness of life in him.

But what things were gain to me, I have counted loss for the love of Christ. 8 And indeed I count all things as loss because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ, 9 and be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness that is from God through faith; 10 in order to know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the participation of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

Philippians 3:7-10

Everything that God has created is for his glory and his delight, he has created us to relate to him, let us remember the way in which Adam and Eve communicated with God, they enjoyed his presence, this is not limited only for them, in the same way God is prepared for us, except that sin entered the world and changed humanity's relationship towards God.
This is not over so we know that history continues and to restore that relationship between the sinful world and God, Christ came to die in our place, bringing redemption and forgiveness for our sins. Jesus Christ restored that relationship that had been lost with God. Now we have the option to be adopted as children of God and belong to him for all eternity, God has provided us with absolutely everything we need to have a close relationship.
There is a reality, new believers usually have a great passion for the Lord, but what happens if they do not grow and mature spiritually? Little by little, that fervor and desire to know more about God will pay off, even when they try to put all their focus and attention on the Lord, there are many other earthly priorities that distract and divert attention, there are other believers who settle in and stagnate. They do not allow their spiritual development and growth, these are some of the situations and characteristics of some believers who unfortunately miss out on that fullness and satisfaction that God has prepared for them. But there are also those believers who tirelessly seek to have a closer and more intimate relationship with God, these simply dedicate themselves to the study of the word and the word itself brings maturity and spiritual growth, a much closer and deeper relationship with the Lord.
Having a close, full, intimate and deep relationship with the Lord satisfies us exceedingly, it does not fill us completely, we have the clear example of King David, he lived in fullness when he related to God.

My soul will be satisfied
like a succulent banquet,
and with joyful lips
my mouth will praise you.

Psalms 63:5

In fact, I consider everything a loss because of the incomparable value of knowing Christ Jesus, my Lord. For his sake I have lost everything and count it as dung, that I may gain Christ.

Philippians 3:8

We too, the apostle Paul, who considered all his earthly achievements, human achievements as nothing compared to knowing more about the Lord Jesus Christ, we too can experience the same as David and the apostle Paul, let us draw closer to God and experience the fullness of life and abundant blessings just by knowing him more.
