Our relationship with God.

God will NEVER stop loving us, no matter what happens, no matter the situation.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but delivered him up for us all, how will he not also with him freely give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who will condemn? It is Christ who died and was raised again, who is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
For your sake we are killed all the day long;
We are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:31-39

God is love; that is his nature, the soul of everything he has created, and he loves us unconditionally. This means that whatever we do or don't do will never interfere with his concern for us. Perhaps after reading and thinking about this, the first thing many people do is think about the reasons why God would stop loving us; they look for an exception. But to be clear: God has a profound love for each one of us, and the only thing that can limit or interfere with that experience of God's love is our disposition.
In the previous text, we clearly see that it says God is on our side so that we may be purified, primarily to have a relationship with Him. God has given His Son as a sacrifice as proof of His love for us, even though we see and there are many expressions throughout the Word of His great love and care for His creation. God has a plan and a purpose prepared for each of His children. God is sovereign and works in every situation, whatever it may be, and He always does so solely for our good.
Let us always keep in mind this sovereign truth of God. Even though some people read and only intellectually understand each of the words expressed in the Bible, they feel unloved or consider themselves unworthy of God's love. In reality, God is patient and gives us His love unconditionally.
