As children of God we have the privilege of being part of a force responsible for connecting humanity with God in reconciliation.
14 When Joab son of Zeruiah knew that the king's heart was inclined toward Absalom, 2 Joab sent to Tekoa, and took from there a cunning woman, and said to her, I pray you, pretend to mourn, and put on mourning clothes. , and do not anoint yourself with oil, but present yourself as a woman who has been mourning for a long time for someone who has died; 3 and you will go in to the king, and you will speak to him in this way. And Joab put the words in his mouth.
2 Samuel 14:1-3
Let us remember that at this time the relationship between Absalom and his father David had broken down and neither of them had the courage to take the first step to make peace, the text we just read says that Joab knowing that The king's heart was inclined towards Absalom and he decided to do something about it.
This is a great example for us that the apostle Paul also urges us to do the same way, the apostle Paul says that God reconciled us through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, This means that we have to act and enter among people, we must forgive and make Christ known to the whole world "reconciling the world to himself."
18 And all this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;
2 Corinthians 5:18
It is wonderful and surprising news because there are times when we need to establish this reconciliation with someone, that is why we must take care and humbly recognize our part and offer mercy even when other people have hurt us or made mistakes. Just as the Lord Jesus Christ did, we should not take into account people's sins, what we should do is deliver the word reconciliation for all humanity.
19 that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting men's sins against them, and he entrusted us with the word of reconciliation.

Imagine such love that we have received and that today we are embraced by God without any conditions, how much more would people who do not yet know Him wish to receive and participate in this same love? Recordemos que en esto tiempo la relación entre Absalón y su padre David se había roto y ninguno de los dos tuvo la valentía de dar el primer paso para hacer las paces, el texto que acabamos de leer dice que Joab sabiendo que el corazón del rey se inclinaba por Absalón decidió hacer algo por ello.
Éste es un gran ejemplo para nosotros a que el apóstol Pablo también nos insta a hacer de la misma manera, el apóstol Pablo dice que Dios nos reconcilió a través de Cristo y que nos ha dado el ministerio de la reconciliación, esto significa que tenemos que actuar Y entrar entre entre las personas, debemos perdonar y dar a conocer a Cristo a todo el mundo "reconciliando consigo al mundo".
18 Y todo esto proviene de Dios, quien nos reconcilió consigo mismo por Cristo, y nos dio el ministerio de la reconciliación;

Es una noticia maravillosa y sorprendente porque hay momentos en que necesitamos establecer esta reconciliación con alguien, es por ello que debemos ocuparnos y reconocer humildemente nuestra parte y ofrecer misericordia aún cuando las otras personas nos hayan dañado o se hayan equivocado. Así también como el señor Jesucristo hizo, no debemos tomar en cuenta los pecados de las personas, lo que debemos hacer es entregar la palabra reconciliación para toda la humanidad.
19 que Dios estaba en Cristo reconciliando consigo al mundo, no tomándoles en cuenta a los hombres sus pecados, y nos encargó a nosotros la palabra de la reconciliación.
