Always remember that you and I are called by God HOLY

Throughout the Bible we find that God calls one of his children "holy." This word means "holy presence" in Greek. Although he doesn't always act like a saint. The term "saint" or "saints" is used 34 times in the Old Testament to refer to God's people and not sinners. One Bible verse would be enough to support this point.

In the New Testament we find a group of brothers called saints.

To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints with all who everywhere call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:

1 Corinthians 1:2

The word "called" does not appear in the original Greek text, but they had physical bodies and lived like humans.

Because you are still carnal; For since there is jealousy, strife, and dissension among you, are you not carnal, and walk like men?

1 Corinthians 3:3

In chapter 6 of this letter, after Paul lists 11 different vices that the Corinthians committed, we read:

And these were some of you; but you have been washed, you have been sanctified, you have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 3:11

In the new creation they were washed, sanctified and justified. But as we see in this letter, in the ancient creation they were not holy at all. The Bible records that they became divided, committed adultery, ate food sacrificed to idols, became drunk on the Lord's Supper, and doubted the resurrection. But in the eyes of God, they were sanctified and justified in their status. The same thinking we see about Israel.

He has not noticed iniquity in Jacob,

Nor has he seen wickedness in Israel.
The Lord his God is with him,
And joy of a king in him.

Numbers 23:21

Balaam had to prophesy these words over Israel. God was not aware of Israel's injustice or perversion. But God tried ten times.

All who have seen my glory and my signs that I have done in Egypt and in the desert, and have already tempted me ten times, and have not listened to my voice,

Numbers: 14:22

God did not see their iniquities and perversions, because they were under the blood of the Passover Lamb and were saved. The same applies to us today.

Just as it happened to Israel and the Corinthians, it is happening to many of us today. Despite our sins and iniquities, God is the same and has made us righteous in all things. Walk confidently in your new position as children of God and separate yourselves from all injustice.

Recuerda siempre que tu y yo somos llamados por Dios SANTOS

A lo largo de la Biblia encontramos que Dios llama "santo" a uno de Sus hijos. Esta palabra significa "santa presencia" en griego. Aunque no siempre actúa como un santo. El término "santo" o "santos" se usa 34 veces en el Antiguo Testamento para referirse al pueblo de Dios y no a los pecadores. Un versículo de la Biblia sería suficiente para respaldar este punto.

En el Nuevo Testamento encontramos un grupo de hermanos llamados santos.

A la iglesia de Dios que está en Corinto, a los santificados en Cristo Jesús, llamados a ser santos con todos los que en cualquier lugar invocan el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, Señor de ellos y nuestro:

1 Corintios 1:2

La palabra "llamados" no aparece en el texto griego original, pero tenían cuerpos físicos y vivían como humanos.

Porque aún sois carnales; pues habiendo entre vosotros celos, contiendas y disensiones, ¿no sois carnales, y andáis como hombres?

1 Corintios 3:3

En el capítulo 6 de esta carta, después de que Pablo enumera 11 vicios diferentes que cometieron los corintios, leemos:

Y esto erais algunos; mas ya habéis sido lavados, ya habéis sido santificados, ya habéis sido justificados en el nombre del Señor Jesús, y por el Espíritu de nuestro Dios.

1 Corintios 3:11

En la nueva creación fueron lavados, santificados y justificados. Pero como vemos en esta carta, en la creación antigua no eran nada santos. La Biblia registra que se dividieron, cometieron adulterio, comieron alimentos sacrificados a los ídolos, se emborracharon con la Cena del Señor y dudaron de la resurrección. Pero a los ojos de Dios, fueron santificados y justificados en su estatus. El mismo pensamiento vemos acerca de Israel.

No ha notado iniquidad en Jacob,
Ni ha visto perversidad en Israel.
Jehová su Dios está con él,
Y júbilo de rey en él.

Numeros 23:21

Balaam tuvo que profetizar estas palabras sobre Israel. Dios no estaba consciente de la injusticia o perversión de Israel. Pero Dios lo intentó diez veces.

Todos los que vieron mi gloria y mis señales que he hecho en Egipto y en el desierto, y me han tentado ya diez veces, y no han oído mi voz,

Números : 14:22

Dios no vio sus iniquidades y perversiones, porque estaban bajo la sangre del Cordero Pascual y fueron salvos. Lo mismo se aplica a nosotros hoy.

Así como le pasó a Israel y a los corintios, nos está pasando a muchos de nosotros hoy. A pesar de nuestros pecados e iniquidades, Dios es el mismo y nos ha hecho justos en todas las cosas. Caminen confiadamente en su nueva posición de hijos de Dios y sepárense de toda injusticia.
