Our Father in heaven, what a joy it is to know that You abide with us at all times. Lord, You are always as close to us as the Spirit that abides within our hearts. If we focus our attention on the happening around us we might be weary of helping people but when our attention is on doing what pleases God, we will be motivated to help people no matter how ugly the environment is to us or no matter how people treated us in return.
