"FOR JESUS, I WILL SPEND ME AND SPEND ME MINE"

in #steemchurch7 years ago (edited)

2 Corinthians 12: 15: "And with the greatest pleasure I will spend mine, and even I myself will spend all of it for the love of your souls, although loving more, be loved less."

This letter explains the commitment that the apostle Paul had for the work to which he had been called and for Jesus. This commitment was so deep that it was above everything and everyone. It is alarming to see how in many churches there is a lack of commitment to God, to prioritize other personal matters.

Pablo was a person with a lot of money and great studies; In addition, he was an excellent architect and recognized in the big cities, as he built for the richest men of the moment. However, Paul said that with his hands he would work for the work of Jesus; therefore, he did not accumulate things for his own, since all he did was to fulfill the ministry that God had given him.

Currently, most of them are thinking about themselves. If we persist in this attitude, we can never help the country. On the other hand, when your service to Jesus you do to spend yours, just to help your neighbor, you must not allow his heart to be damaged.

This I thought a few days ago, when I met some people, who are supposedly working for the work of God, just enough time to realize that they are only looking for their benefits to such an extent that they pass themselves off as They are not, and they say do what they do not do. At that time we only have to pray for this type of people, so that their heart is changed without contender. Prudence is one of the fruits of the spirit, but I thank God that as you move forward with God you reach maturity and discernment that makes you not fall into what you once fell, and it is not so easy for the enemy to come to you. cheat through people who just want to use you.

I have a friend, who always tells me that because I am so patient, that I do not give people away and that I let them move forward as if nothing, that if she were she, she would take off her mask and that's it. Unfortunately there is a time for everything, and we can not act impulsively, the same word says it is good that the tares and the wheat remain together for now, lest trying to pluck the tares, also bring the wheat.

Pablo always understood that although he loved more, he would be loved less, being the victim of innumerable criticisms and false accusations; and even so, he did not stop working for God. However, he did social work constantly, because of the burden he had for each person in need. If you serve Jesus for someone to flatter him or give him back for what he has done, he will easily suffer from frustration. The best motivation we can have in serving Him is that He be glorified.

If we decide to be Christians, let us be of those who give and bless others without expecting anything in return. Let's not imitate those who leave Jesus' call to follow personal goals. This is not Christianity, but individualism.

Obeying God will almost always be against your wishes, because it will affect your human logic.

Paul was willing even to die for Christ, if necessary. At no time did he allow anything to prevent him from obeying the voice of God. Also, do not allow anything to divert you from the purpose that Jesus has for you.

When your service is to please God you will have peace. Our goal is to finish our race with joy and joy.

Hebrews 6:10: "For God is not unjust to forget your work and the work of love that you have shown toward his name, having served the saints and still serving them."

God will never forget your service to Him, because God is good and just!

God Transforms what is painful today into profitable.

God has the power to change something painful that is profitable for your life. When we seek God, He gives us the way out in the face of circumstances and difficulties. Always hear what God says. Here are six principles, that if you choose to believe them, God can transform what today is painful for you, into something profitable. We must believe that any trial, pain or affliction will help us. (Romans 8: 28-29)

God is in control of everything. (1 Corinthians 10:13 We will not always understand what God does; and always their ways are higher than ours. (Isaiah 55: 8)

Focus on God and not on pain. (Psalm 142)
Pray more. Pray more and meditate on the glorious deeds of God so that, increase our faith.
We should always thank God for everything. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
The way we respond in the midst of problems is a choice, and if we choose to believe these principles we will have a blessing.

We must always do things for Christ and as Christ, to help others without any interest, without expecting anything in return, we were called to serve. We must always do the things and works that we do on this earth to please God.

There are people who only think about themselves and do not help others and the work of God is that we help and serve without expecting anything in return because only God knows our needs and our hearts, I bless you friend @ darlenys01

Hello friend @darlenys01 we must first seek the kingdom and its justice and everything else will be added, blessings

Our Father in heaven, what a joy it is to know that You abide with us at all times. Lord, You are always as close to us as the Spirit that abides within our hearts. And Lord, this means that on an occasion such as this, and in a worship service such as this, that we can rest in the truth of this fact, that the Lord Jesus Christ, right now, rules and reigns, and that He has, by His grace, chosen men for the purpose of going into the vineyard and laboring, going into the field and harvesting, and that Father, tonight, we celebrate one of Your great providences in setting aside yet another worker for the extension and the glory of Christ's name. Father, we pray that You would be pleased tonight as we look into Your Word, as we submit ourselves to Your instruction. And we ask Father, that You would guide us in the way of all truth. We pray it in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.

How not to give everything for who gave everything for us loving us first without asking for anything change.

This wonderful.
Christians we help each other side by side. When the bible say love your neighbor as your self, he was saying the exact same thing.. Thanks @darlenys01

Paul was willing even to die for Christ, if necessary. At no time did he allow anything to prevent him from obeying the voice of God. Also, do not allow anything to divert you from the purpose that Jesus has for you.
Amen!
The results of a man centered gospel! People’s focus on themselves! If the Apostle Paul had a better confession He would not have been stoned so many times!
The real gospel is Christ focused and we are last on our own list. We are dead men walking and our one and only focus is the Master's plan. Living to please Him! We are to be strangers and sojourners here, we have a focus which is above not our comfort!
I really don’t think my comfort is on God’s priority list. Becoming Christlike is! Winning the lost at every and any cost! Apprehending everything that was purchased by the precious blood of Jesus! We risk our lives, we give up all for one thing. The Gospel!
God bless my dearest sister! Abrazos!

If we focus our attention on the happening around us we might be weary of helping people but when our attention is on doing what pleases God, we will be motivated to help people no matter how ugly the environment is to us or no matter how people treated us in return.

We have a commitment to the heavenly father to carry out his word to many people. That is why I love the work of the apostolate, because it works to carry out its word to many people,

This is friend @ darlenys01 we forget about others and only think of ourselves and that is selfishness and for God there are no differences we are all equal and his work is that we help each other, because we must love our family as we love ourselves, God is love and for that love is that we have to serve him from the heart. Blessings
