Faith In Trials

James 1:2-4

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire,
wanting nothing.

Trials should be faced with an attitude of joy. When troubles come our Way, we are to consider it an opportunity for great joy. We are not to rejoice for the trial but in the trial. Trials come to everyone but our response will greatly influence the outcome. These trials will show that our faith is genuine. When our faith remains strong through many trials,it Will bring us much praise and glory and honour on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world (1Pet. 1 :7).

Abraham handled his challenges with the right attitude. He was steadfast; he honoured God in spite of the delay. He believed and hoped even when there was no reason to do so. His faith did not weaken by reason of contrary physical evidence. Abraham never wavered in believing God's promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God (Rom.4: 20). Our unwavering faith in God in the face of threatening opposition will bring glory to God. Abraham's faith was again tested when God asked him to sacrihce his beloved son Isaac. He obeyed and passed the test and God said to him: “now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me” (Gen.22:12).

James 1:12

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall
receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

God wants us to endure trials when they come; to be steadfast. Let your hope keeps you joyful,be patient in your troubles, and pray all times (Rom.12:12). Let your faith remain strong through trials. Do not lose your courage Don't give the Devil a chance (Heb. 10: 35). God blessed Job at the end of his trial; he was steadfast. Endure and be blessed.
