Spiritual Hunger
Stunted growth is when a human being refused to increase in size and height. It usually occurs in children within growth age and is caused by lack of nutrition.
It is a physical manifestation of not feeding well. Though a physical condition, it also occurs spiritually.
Hebrews 5:12
In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!
The signs of spiritual stunted growth can easily be observed by the things we say and how we respond to different circumstances.
Though we have different personalities and level of education and these influence the way we handle situations.
Glory be to God the Father who has called us all into his kingdom.
In His kingdom, we have the uneducated, the educated, single mothers and fathers, widows, widowers, young, old, strong, weak, husbands, wives, etc.
He called us all and he knows our strength and weaknesses so he gave us one thing that can make us wise, rich, happy, be confident, and contented -His Word.
His Word which is the sword we use for our daily battles is enough to guide us in the way we should go if we study and meditate on it.
The secret to adequately studying God's word is making gentle efforts to understand a passage and meditate on it.
Brethren, let's fight against every form of spiritual malnutrition. And if we observe stunted growth in our fellow brethren, let's help overcome it through counseling, teaching and prayers.
For the plans he has towards us are plans to prosper us, to give us a hope and a future.
May the Lord be praised!
