Where is our freedom?
"So, if the Son will free you, you will be truly free." John 8:36
The desire of God has always been, is and will be that his creation lives in freedom. God did not create us to be slaves of anything.
The man by his own decision and not knowing how to use the free will that God gave him, submitted himself to the bondage of sin and all its consequences. But now in Christ we are free from slavery. It is a fact that can not be denied: the believer in Christ is free.
Jesus is the only one who gives true freedom.
John 8:36 "So, if the Son will free you, you will be truly free."
God's instrument to free us is his truth.
The truth brings freedom, the lie enslaves. John 8:32 "and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
What is our truth in Christ?
- The truth is that He has forgiven all your sins, and no matter what you have done He has forgiven you.
- The truth is that your life was sunk in the mud and He took you out of there, and put you on the rock.
- The truth is that He frees you from all your fears.
- The truth is that He is with you in affliction.
- The truth is that even if the disease can hit our bodies, by His wound we have been healed.
- The truth is that He has taken us out of the darkness and has translated us into his kingdom of light.
- The truth is that although I am really weak, in Him I am strong.
- The truth is that although we have no value in ourselves, Jesus says that for Him we are of great esteem.
- The truth is that although sometimes we do not know how, Jehovah will fulfill his purpose in our lives.
- The truth is that although you could have been a drug addict, alcoholic, homicidal, divorced, single mother, homosexual, thief, or any other sin you can add, He has loved you, forgiven you and bought you with his blood, and now he has made you your son.
The truth must prevail over the lie. It is time for us to tear down all the lies that Satan has brought to our minds and let the Spirit free us from the bonds and spiritual chains that prevent us from enjoying freedom. Take down the lies that the devil has put on your life and stand upright in the truth of God.
