Press into purpose
Scripture reading
Phillippians 3:12-14
12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
We all have a purpose and a destiny upon our lives whether we know it or not. Truly our purpose is to fulfill the will of God upon our lives, but in order to do that we have to know what the will of God is and then begin to walk in it. Generally we all have a purpose to fulfill here on the earth. That is to know Him and His Son Jesus Christ. That is step number one, there is no use going on to the next steps if we haven’t first made Jesus Lord in our lives. If we try to fulfill the will of God without first knowing God we will be walking in our own vanity, and we will not fulfill God’s purpose nor will we ever be fulfilled ourselves.

We didn't create ourselves and we were not created just to stay here to prosper, have everything we desire to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves.
In Rev.4: 11,
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Our creator has a purpose for creating us. Nothing satislies the heart of a manufacturer like seeing his product fulfilling the purpose for which it was created. Instead, we hunger and seek after pleasing God; seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness.
In Titus 3:5
not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Apostle Paul was very focused on apprehending (laying hold of) the reason why God had apprehended (laid hold of) him, Phil.3:12. No wonder he experienced God's power and blessings in his life. There is a glorious reason why God has saved you. Step into that purpose. Get involved in what God is doing. Like Jesus, let your meat (satisfaction) come from doing the will of Hirn that sent us and a desire to finish His work, John 4:34. We must focus on finishing God's work and not on exhausting all the wealth and pleasure on earth.

God made Abraham mighty so that through Abraham all nations will be blessed, Gen.18:18. God gives us the power to get wealth so He can, through us, establish His covenant on the earth (Deut.8:18)‚ not because we are so important and need to be rich and famous. I believe that God is preparing your heart because He is releasing unbelievable abundance and prosperity upon you.
Exercise your faith to please God and do His will. God your Father will remain committed to divinely taking care of you.
God bless you :)

We have to give our lives meaning, a purpose. That is a purpose that relates to God's will for mankind. Thanks for your contribution.

The kind of life we should live is a life of purpose
There is need to continually press into it
OSThanks for sharing this Gidolee. I agree with you, we need to know God's will before we can serve him effectively. God wants all sorts of humans to be saved and enjoy a perfect life on earth. This is good news. I, personally would definitely want something like this.

After this there is fulfilling of God’s general Word. In other words walking in the general purpose God has given to all believers, learning to walk in power of the Word and follow after the Holy Spirit of God. We are not going to go very far if we don’t know the Word of God and follow after His Holy Spirit. Every believer also has a specific will God has called him or her to fulfill.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
The Word of God is saying through the Apostle Paul the before the world was created God ordained certain good works for us to walk in. He knows the beginning from the end and He knows what we are supposed to do in our time here.
1 Peter 1:17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your sojourning here in fear;
This is a huge fact

When the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable, so also when the purpose of our existence is not known and yet to be discovered then we live a non perceived life going against the Greek principle of Esse est percipi "to exist is to be perceived". The purpose of life is a life of purpose.
In one sense, you are always living in God's purpose. God is God and He works all things, including your life, according to his purposes. ... This is key in understanding God's purpose for your life. God has numbered your days and will fulfill every purpose He has for you.
Wow,this is so true,we are here for a reason and purpose, and so as believers we should not live for our self but for God's purpose for our life, find your purpose and fulfill it,Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
I strongly agree with this fact. We all need to learn form these words.
We believe God's purpose for mankind is to prepare those whom He calls—and who elect through a life of overcoming sin, developing righteous character and growing in grace and knowledge—to possess God's Kingdom and become kings and priests reigning with Christ at His return. We believe that the reason for mankind's existence is literally to be born as spirit beings into the family of God (Romans 6:15-16; 8:14-17, 30; Acts 2:39; 2 Peter 3:18; Revelation 3:5; 5:10).
