THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN YOU

For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).(Roman's 5:17)

To Be Righteous is the nature of God that is to say Righteousness is the nature of God that describes His rightness; that is his ability to do and be right always. That nature is imparted to your spirit when you receive Christ into your heart to be born again, then, you are automatically brought into oneness with God; His character of rightness is wrought in your spirit. The result of this spirit imparted in you is that you can stand in God's presence with boldness, without condemnation, inferiority or guilt, Ephesians 3:12"In Whom, because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear). this is because you've become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus 2 Corinthians5:21"For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]."

God is expecting you to live this life of righteousness daily, your life should be the expression of the life He's given you.
ILLUSTRATION
When a child is born, he is naturally human; but he starts building and developing his innate human characteristics. He does not have the nature of a dog or Carmel, but of human being, but to bring out this human characteristics, he must develop it through knowledge and fellowship with other humans.

From the illustration above, when you become a child of God, you automatically receive the righteousness of God. Even if you were, it does not mean that you are no longer righteous, but because you haven't grown or matured in the knowledge of God.

A child who's not taught how to walk, may never walk; not because he doesn't have the ability to walk but because he was never taught. To grow as a mature Christian and be able to live righteously to the glory of God, you must be taught to live by God's Word just like the Child.

The righteousnes of God is in us, we are righteous through Christ, he is the only one that can make us righteous,not what we do or say. Know him today by accepting him into your life."
