Trust in God
Psalms 37:3-5
"Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture."
"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:"
God created man in His image and gave man dominion over all the things he created. This reason alone should make man trust in God's word. If God should say a thing and it comes to pass, it shows how great He is. He must be obeyed and worshipped. God having so much love and respect for man made him authority over His creation here on earth. This warrants man’s trust on Him.
Taking a look at Genesis 1:21-31, one would appreciate God's greatness for creating the earth and all that is in it just by the power of His spoken word. As such, this God has to be trusted for all things. He is the sovereign God, absolute in power, eternal life, great judge and re-warder, immutable. He never changes. omniscient, omnipresent and everlasting immortal God. in fact, there is no man that has ever had such attributes that ever existed or that will ever exist till eternity. God is God. Nothing can ever be compared to Him. Thus, He has to be trusted for His word, which never fails.
God's promise for mankind, which He has accomplished by sending His son Jesus to save man from sin and captivity of the devil, is enough reason to trust His word. God never fails in His word. He was not pleased with man's depravity and as such sent a redeemer for man's sake in the person of His only Son Jesus.
This is what no earthly man can ever do for his fellow friend, but God in His glorious and sovereign power did it for man. How loving God is! That not being enough, He is still working out the final plan on how to completely annihilate Satan and his evil works here on earth with fire as His Son the king of glory [Jesus Christ] will come bad: again the second time to reign with His brides here on earth forever [Rev. 21]. So, whosoever that does not want to be destroyed along with Satan on the last Day of Judgment must have a reason to trust in God.
As a believer or creation of God, one must trust in God because He is the only one that can be relied upon. He will never fail us. He is the only trustworthy one . A believer who trusts in God has so many things to benefit: prosperity, long life, safety, protection, fruitfulness, toy, peace and rest round about.

6 Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness. 7 He also said to him, “I am the LORD, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it.” 8 But Abram said, “Sovereign LORD, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?” 9 So the LORD said to him, “ Bring me a heifer, a goat and a ram, each three years old, along with a dove and a young pigeon .” 10 Abram brought all these to him, cut them in two and arranged the halves opposite each other ; the birds, however, he did not cut in half .
