Faith in Jesus.
In today's text we can see that Jesus speaks to this person and tells him that he himself is the son of God. Immediately this blind man manifests his genuine faith when he answers "I believe, Lord." And immediately he prostrates himself before him in reverence and worship.
In this painting we can learn many things, such as that it is not enough to just know who Jesus is, we must recognize him as such and this also implies full confidence in the person of Jesus. In turn, this makes our faith act; it is not just positive thinking, just as the man who not only believed also prostrated himself and worshiped Jesus in response with gratitude.
We need to have this personal revelation, that is, to have a personal relationship with the Lord, just as this man who saw Jesus immediately had. We can ask ourselves the following question: am I recognizing Jesus and worshiping him every day? It is important that we put our faith into practice and that we experience the presence of Jesus in our lives.
Jesus said to him: For you have seen him, and he who speaks with you is he. 38 And he said, I believe, Lord; and worshiped him.
John 9:37-38
