God will exalt us in due time.

This verse shocks us and at the same time propels us, allowing us to reflect and open our eyes once and for all. We live in a world where everyone needs and fervently desires to be seen. They crave success more than many other things. Immediate recognition is paramount in almost everyone's life. To all of this, God says: calm down and humble yourself while I set the pace.
When we speak of humiliation, it doesn't mean lowering ourselves; it means recognizing that we are not the center of the universe and that God knows much more than all of us. He is all-powerful and sees far beyond what we can see. God is always in control, while we are not. But the best of all is that God will exalt us. The Word of God tells us, perhaps or perhaps, that He will do it at the time of God's choosing. This reminds us that God's timing is not the same as our timing, and His timing never fails and is never too late.
If we think we're doing everything right in serving God, sowing, giving our best, but we don't like the fact that no one sees us, let's remember that God does see us and will exalt us when the time is right. Let's not try to compete; let's wait on God, since He doesn't forget those who humble themselves before Him. Let's not think that God needs help to rush them. Let's let go and give control to God, who will position us where it will be best for us.
Let's stop running after the world's approval and seek God's gaze.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.
