Jesus has given us the victory

In this verse, we see that the apostle Paul had been speaking about death, sin, and everything that seemed like the end of everything, and then he suddenly ends with this reflection: we have victory thanks to Jesus Christ.

Notice how decisive he is when he says "we have." At no point does he present doubts, such as, "perhaps, or maybe if we behave well, we will have victory." Of course, he says that we already have victory. Why does he say this? It's simply because Jesus Christ has conquered death once and for all. Therefore, there is no greater complication or difficulty than this. Nothing can surpass this victory if we are in Christ, and thanks to this, we already have the written result: "we have won."

Perhaps today is one of those days when we feel defeated, lacking desire, or very tired. We simply need to remember what the Word of God says for us: God has already given us victory. Sin and death have been conquered, and this allows us to walk with complete certainty that God will protect us forever.

Does the enemy make you feel worthless? Maybe yes, maybe he'll tell you that you won't be able to do it or that you're trying alone, but take this verse and throw it in his face, reminding the enemy that you are more than a conqueror, and it's not because of your own strength, but because Jesus gave you the victory on the cross.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:57

God bless you today and always!!!
