We are a comforter to console.
Today we enjoy this verse that comes from the heart of God. It reminds us that our Father is not only with us in the good times, but also with us in the bad, to support and encourage us in every situation. In every moment when we think we can't take it anymore. God is there to infuse us with strength and encouragement through His Holy Spirit.
This is not limited to this; the Apostle Paul also reminds us that this comfort is not just for us, it's also for us to comfort others. Our pain and suffering also serve to bless other people.
If you've experienced a separation or loss, you can confidently embrace someone who is suffering or has experienced a separation. If you've experienced depression, today you can understand and speak with love and tenderness to someone who is in the deepest pit. In these and many other ways, God uses us to bless others.
We must not deny or hide our history. God can use absolutely everything so that we can be instruments of blessing for people.
who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
