Blackmail via Demands

Those serving as soldiers also asked him, And we, what shall we do? And he replied to them, Never demand or enforce by terrifying people or by accusing wrongfully, and always be satisfied with your rations (supplies) and with your allowance (wages).

Permit me to dwell on this text for a while, as I recall the definition of Emotional Blackmail:
This has to do with When the People in Your Life Use Fear, Obligation, and Guilt to Manipulate You._
Today we shall be looking at the emotional blackmail of Obligations

We shall be looking at how some of us uses our demands to Blackmail others.
There are expected obligations for everyone of us in different shades and types.
Demands to perform our obligations becomes abusive and in a way a Blackmail when we begin to use our demands to threaten the peace, of others... Things like, a woman placing same level of financial demands on her husband who just lost his job.
Anything we do that breeds fear on our brethren is an act of emotional Blackmail.
While we all must all be responsible to our obligations, it's wisdom to draw the lines in order not to abuse via our demands.
A lot of the murdering cases we had last year in Nigeria were traceable to demands place on them that they weren't able to meet.
Friends, let's not Blackmail our love once with our demands in the name of 'is their obligations...'
Demands by its original form ought to be a source of encouragement to work hard and to emotionally Blackmail us.
A lot if relationships and marriages are not working because of this same thing.
When we use our demands to breed fear and tension instead of faith, we kill the hope of our love once.
let's keep the hope of our love once alive by not giving room to emotional Blackmail.
Always be considerate in making demands on others.
There are women who even misuse the scripture that talked about a man taking care of his household to abuse and emotionally Blackmail the man.
Let's learn how to speak faith and hope to those around us...
Let's give them more reasons to succeed.

#Thank you Jesus for using the demands around me to work out your will in my life.
#Lord, deliver us from demands that emotionally Blackmail us.
#Lord, help me to respond to the needs around me at all times.

AS CHILDREN OF GOD, OUR DEMANDS OUGHT TO BREED FAITH ON OUR LOVE ONCE TO MEET THEIR OBLIGATIONS

UNMET NEEDS OR DEMANDS ARE POTENTIAL BLACKMAIL TOOLS

WHEN WE ABUSE THE PRIVILEGE OF MAKING DEMANDS, WE EMOTIONALLY BLACKMAIL OUR FUTURE
