Sovereignty of God
The Scripture teaches that God is independent (self-sufficient and self-contained), meaning that He is the basis of your own being, does not need someone to do it, maintain it, complete it or help it. He is independent, considering His will and power to exercise them without help or guidance from no one.
In that God is completely separated from all his creatures because they are basically dependent on Him in all things. The contrast between God, the self-sufficient, and His creatures, all dependent, establish Him as the Most High Lord and Supreme Governor. There can be no criterion above or below God that can define it or to determine it, there is no power that can control or limit it, there is no cut that can to judge him, there is no law outside His holy nature that can direct or bind him. Gods also infinite in his being, infinite in power, wisdom, wisdom and sanctity. These perfections of His nature establish His right to supremacy in His government over everything finite. As Charnock explains: "God therefore being an ocean incomprehensible of all perfection and infinitely possessing all those virtues that they can claim the domain; has the first foundation of the domain in its own nature"
Second, the sovereignty of God is manifest in the doctrine of the divine decree. The decree word expresses the biblical teaching that God has determined by the counsel of his own will a plan that surrounds all His creation, animate and inanimate. According to Scripture, the right of God, governs all things and is unique, eternal, incomparable, unconditional, prudent, complete. Only one possessing total sovereignty could order and pass all events, creatures, destinations, etc. But there would not be a divine decree like that if there were wills, rights, powers and competitive domains on earth and in heaven. If Almighty God and His will were not unique, then it would not be Almighty, and in that case it would not be God (maybe a god, but not God).
Third, God's works determine His sovereignty. God takes His decree for the works of creation and providence. By creation God establishes His property of all things and His right to rule over all things, His dominion above all "the Sovereignty of God has naturally risen in the relationship of all things to Him himself, as his total Creator, and his natural and inseparable dependence on Him, considering His existence "
The doctrine of providence teaches that God is exercising His authority and powerm in creation actively, and that ensures that God's Plan will happen in time and in the history. Divine providence is linked to the preservation of creation and the government of creation. Not only are they all dependent on God for their existence, they are also dependent on God for their continued existence. In addition, the Scripture says that God is the King of all the earth, ruling in all the affairs of men, so that His Council will pass. Since He is the Creator, King of kings and Lord of lords, the The supreme power in heaven and earth, everyone will have to kneel before His authority.

Our God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. His sovereignty and supremacy compares to none. Thanks Apostle DM for sharing.
