Perseverance is duration. It is easy to be consistent for a day or a few days. Difficult and important is to be consistent throughout life. It is easy to be consistent at the time of exaltation, difficult to be consistent at the time of tribulation. And only coherence that lasts throughout life can be called fidelity.
