Fear of The Unknown
As an avid reader, I've found myself slowly losing my ability to focus on studying a book long enough to reach its end.
This has gone on for quite a while.
Honestly, I came across a book from a friend today and sat down to finish it. I learnt a lot from the 39 pages I read. I gathered life lessons that would've taken me years to learn.
Including a way to conquer what I had long since coined as a fear that stemmed from my dramatic nature.
A fear of the unknown I seem to experience whenever I seem close to progressing.
God hasn't given us a spirit of fear but of a sound mind, that's what the Bible says. But a lot of Christians still dwell in fear and sometimes, they get ridiculed for it or even diagnosed with a disorder.
I learnt to conquer my fear from a book I was quite reluctant to read, Who Moved My Cheese.
I gathered that you need hope and determination to move forward, some types of fear spur you to rise up and move, but, they don't stay as positive sources of motivation for long. Eventually, if you can't imagine life past that fear, you'll dwell in it and refuse to adapt.
The result of that is what we all consider as failure.
