Time & Chance......Part 2

Time & Chance

Every set time presents itself with the opportunity which is the chance needed to do or become. At the set time, God presented Joseph with a time frame. This time frame was the chance and opportunity that Joseph needed to become.

It is your duty to take responsibility for the choice and opportunities that God gives you. Joseph had a time frame of seven years and he maximized it and did all that he had to do, he managed his time and opprtunity very well and outside of this seven years time frame, there would have been no Joseph. We are still talking of Joseph because he managed well his seven years time frame.

The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.

Genesis 41 vs 26.

Joseph managed very well the seven years of plenty by storing enough food and grains to help Egypt survive the seven years of drought, this brought him prosperity and divine establishment. At Josep's set time, his gifts came alive and made him stand before the king.

He was forgotten for two years because the opportunity for him to become what God had in mind for him was yet to come. If he were to be remembered by the chief Butler he would have been limited. But the opportunity that God gave Joseph was tied to God's plan to preserve the nation of Israel and the entire world at large. But at the end of Joseph's waiting in prison, the opportunity presented itself and he ascended the throne.

13 And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.
14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.
15 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.

Genesis 41 vs 13-15.

That's the much I can muster today.
Hope to see you next time.

Sort:

everything has its moment as Ecclesiastes 3 establishes and we must ask God to reveal us and we do not show what is the moment to act to achieve the goal, for our part we must be aware of the signs because we have the Holy Spirit as our help.

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Time waits for no man
We also need Gods divine grace to know when the time is right
Good post

When one set time has come...nothing can stop it's manifestation.
