Why Are Majority of Christians under the Control of Spirits of Falsehood?

성령께서는 제게, 대부분의 교회지도자들의 머리에 미혹의 영이 타고 앉아 자신의 생각을 넣어주어 속이고 있고, 대부분의 교인들이 미혹의 영의 지배를 받고 있다고 말씀하셨습니다.
Holy Spirit told me that majority of pastors have spirits of falsehood filling their heads with worldly thoughts, as well as ordinary Christians.

물론 이런 제 주장을 들으면 “달밤에 웬 개가 짖는구나.”하고 넘기겠지만, 세상 사람들과 진배없이, 건조하고 냉랭한 영혼으로 무능하고 무기력하게 살아가는 교인들을 보면 불쌍하기 짝이 없습니다.
Of course, I know most people will give me a weird look asking, “What are you talking about?”

뭐 그래도 자신들은 구원을 받았다는 것을 철썩 같이 믿고 있을 것이지만 말이죠.
And they won’t raise a question about their own salvation.

그래서 오늘은 우리네 교회가 얼마나 미혹을 당하고 있는지 조목조목 살펴보고 싶습니다.
So I would like to talk about how much the churches today are consumed by spirits of falsehood.

모세의 인도로 애굽을 탈출한 이스라엘 백성들은 성인남자만 60만 명으로, 어린아이와 여자까지 합치면 약 200만 명으로 추산되는 거대한 무리였습니다.
The people who moved out of Egypt were a big group of people; there were 600 thousand men, so the estimate of total population is believed to be 2 million.

그러나 성경은 대부분의 사람들이 광야에서 죽어 지옥에 던져졌다고 선포하고 있죠.
But the Bible states that those people mostly died in the desert.

아니, 그들만큼 하나님의 기적을 목격하고 체험한 사람들도 드물지 않습니까?
Weren’t they the ones who experienced God’s power the most, in person?

홍해가 갈라지는 것을 두 눈으로 보았으며, 시내산에서 모세가 하나님을 만나는 장면이 너무도 두려워서 떨었다고 하지 않았습니까?
They saw the Red Sea split; they feared and trembled when they saw Moses meeting God at Mount Sinai.

매일처럼 만나를 먹고, 항상 구름기둥과 불기둥이 그들을 인도함을 받지 않았나요?
Didn’t they eat Manna every single day? Weren’t they lead by pillar of smoke and fire?

그런데도 그들은 날마다 하나님께 원망하고 불평하며 모세에게 반항하였습니다. 이런 사실이 이해가 되지 않을 겁니다.
Even then, they complained and rebelled against God and Moses everyday. Not really understandable, is it?

그러나 그 이유를 성경을 말해주고 있어요.
But the Bible clearly explains the reason.

광야에서 시험하던 날에 거역하던 것 같이 너희 마음을 완고하게 하지 말라 거기서 너희 열조가 나를 시험하여 증험하고 사십 년 동안 나의 행사를 보았느니라 그러므로 내가 이 세대에게 노하여 이르기를 그들이 항상 마음이 미혹되어 내 길을 알지 못하는도다 하였고 내가 노하여 맹세한 바와 같이 그들은 내 안식에 들어오지 못하리라 하였다 하였느니라(히3:8~11)
do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion,
during the time of testing in the wilderness,
where your ancestors tested and tried me,
though for forty years they saw what I did.
That is why I was angry with that generation;
I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray,
and they have not known my ways.’
So I declared on oath in my anger,
‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”(Hebrews 3: 8-11)

성경은 그들이 속아서(미혹되어서) 그랬다고 말하고 있습니다.
The Bible states that people were deceived.

그렇다면 누가 그들을 속였습니까? 바로 미혹의 영이지요.
So who deceived them? The spirits of falsehood.

미혹의 영은 속이는 계략으로 죄에 빠뜨리게 하는 귀신들을 말합니다. 귀신들은 영혼불멸의 존재입니다.
Spirits of falsehood use deception to tempt people and push them down to the way of sins. ANd spirits are immortal beings.

그렇다면 귀신들이 이스라엘 백성만 속여서 지옥 불에 던져지게 하겠습니까?
Then, did spirits of falsehood only deceive Jews?

바로 우리네 교인들도 예외 없이 똑같이 속여서 지옥 불에 던져지게 하고 있을 겁니다.
We are not exempt; they don’t care about our nationality or ethnicity.

그러나 그 사실을 아는 사람이 몇 명이나 있겠어요?
But how many people are there that are aware of this?

하나님께서 자신들을 구원하시기로 작정한 자녀로서, 한 번구원은 영원한 구원이라는 신학자의 주장을 하나님의 말씀으로 착각하며 살아가고 있으니 기가 막히는 일입니다.
It’s sad to see people believing the “once saved, always saved” ideology, thinking they are the lost sheep Jesus will save whatsoever.

그래서 구원을 잃어버릴 걱정이나 염려하지 말라는 투의 말들은, 미혹의 영에 사로잡힌 신학자와 목사들의 주장이라는 것을 말하는 말씀이 성경에 널려 있습니다. 그래서 그 구절을 찾아보겠습니다.
The Bible clearly says those ideologies come from theologians that are deceived by spirits of falsehood. Let’s take a look at some of these passages.

형제들아 너희는 삼가 혹 너희 중에 누가 믿지 아니하는 악한 마음을 품고 살아 계신 하나님에게서 떨어질까 조심할 것이요 오직 오늘이라 일컫는 동안에 매일 피차 권면하여 너희 중에 누구든지 죄의 유혹으로 완고하게 되지 않도록 하라(히3:12,13)
See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.(Hebrews 3: 12-13)

그러므로 우리는 두려워할지니 그의 안식에 들어갈 약속이 남아 있을지라도 너희 중에는 혹 이르지 못할 자가 있을까 함이라 그들과 같이 우리도 복음 전함을 받은 자이나 들은 바 그 말씀이 그들에게 유익하지 못한 것은 듣는 자가 믿음과 결부시키지 아니함이라(히4:1,2)
Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. 2 For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.(Hebrews 4: 1-2)

하나님이 원 가지들도 아끼지 아니하셨은즉 너도 아끼지 아니하시리라 .그러므로 하나님의 인자하심과 준엄하심을 보라 넘어지는 자들에게는 준엄하심이 있으니 너희가 만일 하나님의 인자하심에 머물러 있으면 그 인자가 너희에게 있으리라 그렇지 않으면 너도 찍히는 바 되리라(롬11:20,21)
Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.(Romans 11: 20-21)

그들이 허탄한 자랑의 말을 토하며 그릇되게 행하는 사람들에게서 겨우 피한 자들을 음란으로써 육체의 정욕 중에서 유혹하는도다 그들에게 자유를 준다 하여도 자신들은 멸망의 종들이니 누구든지 진 자는 이긴 자의 종이 됨이라 만일 그들이 우리 주 되신 구주 예수 그리스도를 앎으로 세상의 더러움을 피한 후에 다시 그 중에 얽매이고 지면 그 나중 형편이 처음보다 더 심하리니 의의 도를 안 후에 받은 거룩한 명령을 저버리는 것보다 알지 못하는 것이 도리어 그들에게 나으니라 참된 속담에 이르기를 개가 그 토하였던 것에 돌아가고 돼지가 씻었다가 더러운 구덩이에 도로 누웠다 하는 말이 그들에게 응하였도다(벧후2:19~22)
They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for “people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.” If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. 21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,”[a] and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.”(2 Peter 2: 19-22)

인자야 너는 네 민족에게 이르기를 의인이 범죄하는 날에는 그 공의가 구원하지 못할 것이요 악인이 돌이켜 그 악에서 떠나는 날에는 그 악이 그를 엎드러뜨리지 못할 것인즉 의인이 범죄하는 날에는 그 의로 말미암아 살지 못하리라 가령 내가 의인에게 말하기를 너는 살리라 하였다 하자 그가 그 공의를 스스로 믿고 죄악을 행하면 그 모든 의로운 행위가 하나도 기억되지 아니하리니 그가 그 지은 죄악으로 말미암아 곧 그 안에서 죽으리라(겔33:12,13)
“Therefore, son of man, say to your people, ‘If someone who is righteous disobeys, that person’s former righteousness will count for nothing. And if someone who is wicked repents, that person’s former wickedness will not bring condemnation. The righteous person who sins will not be allowed to live even though they were formerly righteous.’ If I tell a righteous person that they will surely live, but then they trust in their righteousness and do evil, none of the righteous things that person has done will be remembered; they will die for the evil they have done.(Ezekiel 33: 12-13)

성경 곳곳에서는 한 번 구원이 영원한 구원이라는 투의 말씀이 전혀 없습니다.
There is no mention anywhere in the Bible that guarantees eternal salvation.

만약 그랬다면 예수님께서 요한계시록에 기록한 초대교회 7개교회중에 5개 교회를 향하여, 지금의 믿음을 돌이키지 않으면 생명책에서 이름을 빼어서 지옥 불에 던지겠다고 하신 말씀이 이해가 되지 않을 겁니다.
If this were true, the passages about Jesus warning that 5 out of 7 churches to repent or face the consequences of having their names removed from the book of life wouldn't make sense at all.

그들이 누구입니까? 목숨을 걸고 예수를 그리스도로 믿은 사람들이죠.
Who were they? They were the believers of Christ, who risked their own lives to follow him.

그런데 그들의 구원이 확정되기는 고사하고, 돌이켜 회개하고 하나님께 돌아오라고 권면하고 있으니 기가 막히는 일입니다.
But they are told to repent and return to God; he never mentions anything about salvation at all.

위에 올려드린 말씀의 대상이 누구입니까? 하나님을 모르는 세상 사람일까요? 아니죠.
Whom are these passages speaking to? The secular people? Nope.

그들은 이미 예수를 믿은 기독교인들입니다.
They are Christians who accepted Jesus as their savior.

그들이 구원이 확정되지 않았다고 말하는데, 우리네 교인들만 구원이 확정된 사실처럼 착각하고 있으니 기가 막힙니다.
It’s ironic that Christians today believe in their eternal salvation, even when the Bible states THEY weren’t promised salvation.

성경 곳곳에서 바울, 베드로, 에스겔 등의 쟁쟁한 성경의 위인들이, 이미 하나님께서 구원하기로 예정된 백성들일지라도 날마다 죄를 회개하고 죄와 피터지게 싸워 이기는 자가 되지 않으면 천국에 들어갈 수 없다고 선포하고 있어요.
Paul, Peter, Ezekiel, and other faithful and righteous say no one can enter Heaven unless he/she repents and fights against sins throughout the Bible.

그러나 기이하게도, 우리네 교회에서는 그런 설교나 가르침을 들을 수가 없죠.
But strangely, you seldom hear that in churches today.

대다수의 교인들은 성경을 철저하게 읽고 묵상하지 않으므로, 오늘 필자가 인용한 성경말씀이 있는지도 모르고 있습니다.
Majority of Christians don’t read the Bible as regularly or thoroughly, so they don’t even know that there are such passages regarding the conditions of receiving salvation.

목사들이 설교단상에서 나팔을 부는 구절이 전부로만 알고 있으니 기이한 일이예요.
It’s strange that they blindly listen to what their church pastors say and believe their words as the truth.

목사들도 자신들이 주장하난 구원론과 충돌하고 도전하는 말씀을 모르지 않지만 난해하다고 하며 인정하지 않거나, 구차스럽고 장황한 설명을 늘어놓으며 그게 그런 뜻이 아니라고 진땀을 흘리며 변명하기 일수입니다.
Even the pastors don’t accept some Bible passages, saying it’s not interpretable; or they re-interpret the Bible however they please.

그러면서 지금의 시대는 성경이 완성된 시대이므로, 자신들은 열심히 공부하고 있다고 자화자찬하고 있으니 기가 막힌 일이죠.
And they say the modern world is where the Bible is complete; and they compliment themselves for studying the Bible hard.

내가 이 두루마리의 예언의 말씀을 듣는 모든 사람에게 증언하노니 만일 누구든지 이것들 외에 더하면 하나님이 이 두루마리에 기록된 재앙들을 그에게 더하실 것이요 만일 누구든지 이 두루마리의 예언의 말씀에서 제하여 버리면 하나님이 이 두루마리에 기록된 생명나무와 및 거룩한 성에 참여함을 제하여 버리시리라(계22:18,19)
I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.(Revelation 22: 18-19)

하나님은 누구든지 성경을 자의적으로 해석하여 성경말씀을 비틀어서 빼버리거나 더하면, 구원받은 자의 목록에서 이름을 빼거나 재앙을 더할 것이라고 엄중한 경고를 하고 있습니다.
God warns us that anyone that twists the Bible will have his/her name off the book of life (scroll).

그러나 우리네 교회의 지도자와 목사들은 교단신학자의 주장을 세우기 위해 성경책을 난도질하고 있으니 섬뜩한 일이예요.
But churches and pastors today twist and change the Bible, in order to claim their validity as church leaders.

그러나 가장 불쌍한 이들은 이러한 사실조차 모르고 교회마당을 밟고 있는 교인들입니다.
But the saddest part of all is the regular churchgoers who are not even aware of such fact.

이들 역시 성경을 읽지 않아서 하나님이 말씀에 무지하고, 하나님과 교제하는 기도를 하지 않아 눈이 멀고 귀가 먹은 짐승과 다를 바 없으니, 하나님을 모르고 만나지 않은 죄 때문에 지옥 불에 던져지게 되니 억울하고 슬픈 일입니다.
They, too, will not know God and be thrown out to Hell, for they don’t know any better; they don’t read the Bible, and they’re ignorant of what God tells you.

그 이유는 미혹의 영이 우리네 교회지도자와 교인들을 속여서 지배하고 있기 때문입니다.
It’s because spirits of falsehood are deceiving pastors and general Christians and have them under control.
