Never take God's Grace for granted

There was a time I used to go to church very early in the morning and in my area it's hard to get a cab or bike that early and I wasn't mobile. So each morning before I step out I would pray to God to send an angel and trust me it always work, whenever I step out within seconds I would get a bike to take me to church,i was always happy and after a while I think I took it for granted, for a moment i forgot it was grace.
One day, on a faithful Sunday morning while going to church as usual, I was on bike and saw alot of people waiting for bike also along the way, it's been like that like almost every Sunday everytime there is always alot of people at the bus stops along the way to Church.
So this particular Sunday I was like why haven't these people gotten bike yet? And they going to church too? Probably they didn't pray before they left home and I was like I prayed that's why I always get a bike early!
It was getting in my head, I was taking God's grace for granted and He needed to teach me a lesson!
Trust me He did!
The next Sunday after I did my usual stuff, prayed and left home but this particular Sunday it was difficult to get a bike, I had to start trekking, I wore heels and the road is really bad. Like I almost trek half of the way and I kept saying God please send me a bike, it was like He turned deaf ears to me and I was wondering what was wrong then the Holy Spirit told me 'you see its not everybody that you see on the road waiting for bike every Sunday morning don't pray when the leave home But it's by God grace you always get bike early...'
Immediately I started asking for forgiveness, Lord I did wrong and I'm sorry, I will never judge people like that and never take your grace for granted ever again...and believe me within few seconds after that prayer I got a bike! Yes few seconds!
That experience taught me two things:
- Never think you doing something special that other are not doing if everything is going well for you, it's God's grace please don't take it for granted.
- You can be praying the wrong prayers without knowing, I was there praying God please send me a bike but He needed me to realize my mistake and ask for forgiveness and after knowing the right thing to pray about answers came within seconds.
Always ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.
