Church is a school where we learn the truth of God's word and where we get better

Yea, tomorrow is Sunday!
So happily you see Christian brothers and sisters hurrying to get to church;
Looking extremely excited to go fellowship with other believers
Looking all dressed wih bibles, phone tabs and jotting pads
And the first line of psalm that comes to mind is David's acknowledgment of the exceeding overflow of joy that follows being in the house of worship; the presence of God.

Some, to church they go to pray
Some, to church they go to worship
And some others, to FLIRT
Yea, you read right; to flirt and book many more appointments with those gorgeous sisters and handsome brothers.
Innocent they appear but evil are their thoughts
Amazingly versed they are in scriptures
But the motive of church to them is tainted and evil.

That's not what church is met for.
Church is a place of worship where believers get edified, better and grow spiritually
Not a place to display how rich you are
Nor a centre where you make a pick of your best fornication partner(s)
But a school where you learn and conform to the person of Christ.

Don't be a mere church goer but a christian always standing up for the cross of Christ. Go to Church and fellowship with other brethren with this mindset. That's what a church is.
